Vivian furrowed her brows, clearly annoyed. "I have a ton of bracelets, and if you think you can delay this, I'll definitely have you thrown out of here." She shot a pointed look at her bodyguard, signalling him to be ready.
"No, no…" Anastasia hurriedly pressed the pen to the paper, but her mind raced as she skimmed the details. The piece of land Vivian desperately wanted was their family home—the one they'd lived in together when happiness still seemed possible. She hesitated, her grip tightening on the pen.
"Dad…" she whispered to herself, 'What were you thinking?' She silently questioned Peter's choice to leave the land in her name, her heart heavy with confusion.
Daniel's frown deepened. He stepped forward, his voice cutting through the tension. "The bracelet Peter gave you, where is it?"
