Chương 144: Invitation

Chamberlain had just received the list of invited guests. His eyes scanned the list and he easily caught on to the fact that amongst the privileged guests, he wasn't particularly close to anyone. They were mostly political  party members and business partners of his father and their children.

"Another political party," he sighed. The fact that his wedding wasn't spared of politics did not really bother him. After all, that was his father, he utilized any and every thing. No one could escape.

Raising his head, he gazed at Carl through the glass door. "May be, he could be my best man..."

Carl who was focusing on the three monitors on his desk did not realize when his boss appeared before him. The knocking sound on his desk alerted him.

"Good, you're here. I was thinking maybe you could get me a team, that way I could work faster and a more secure and private office wouldn't be a bad idea." Carl straightforwardly raised his suggestion.
