Chương 17: Beloved Daughter In Law

They didn't know what to do anymore. The room suddenly became quiet.

"We heard that Luke woke up this morning," Mom walked towards Elena and made her yell in cute voice "kya."

"Mom, you scared me."

"I am sorry. I wonder why it was so quiet. Both of you looked so serious," said with a gentle smile. "It is a relief that Luke woke up at last," a middle-aged man walked towards the room elegantly.

Elena looked at the middle-aged man and shouted cheerfully: "Dad."

"This girl only acts like this towards you, and it is depressing," Mom looked at her husband with an aggrieved look.

(Luck's POV)

He never knew why his wife looked at him with aggrieve look. His wife always wanted to have a cute daughter, but we couldn't have more children after Luke's birth. Elena is a gentle and lovely girl. It was why his wife liked Elena so much.

"Dad, you said that you still had some business left."

"I already finished everything, I immediately came after hearing Luke was awake," Dad walked towards Luke's bed.

"How do you feel."

It was the first time Luke saw his father while he was unconscious. His father was out of town. His father is the same as him.

He has a cold aura and elegant. "I am fine, dad," he said.

"That is good. You made us worried. Elena, she was crying when you were unconscious," Dad looked at Elena, Elena looked down unconsciously, "Dad, please don't say that."

I felt uncomfortable in this situation. Dad, please, you stopped saying more okay. I begged you, but Elena's hope was in vain. Dad continued boasted about Elena in front of Luke.

"She always took care of you here while you were unconscious. Please take care of Elena after you recover," He said.

"Don't make her sad anymore," Mom said with menacing aura.

"I understand, Dad, Mom," Luke said with a calm tone.

"Dad, what are you talking about, hahaha don't tell him everything," said panicky while holding dad's arm.

"Elena, don't be shy, don't be shy. While a girl falls in love, she will be more lovable," He said while patting Elena's head.

"Dad, you make me embarrassed," I said shyly.

"Hahahaha, you are so cute, Elena, take care of Luke, your mother and I will have a date," he suddenly said while looking at his wife.

"Eh?." I stunned.

"Ah, your dad is right. It was a young couple time so the old couple will have a date of ours", Mom added while she looked at his husband.

"We will come back later," He said while leading his wife the way out.

What did you mean by a young couple times? Did you talk about us? I knew that we are married, and we are young, but what did you mean by a young couple? Since when did we become a couple?. Elena was shocked. It was like a storm has passed.

(Luke's POV)

She is closed to my parents.

I never looked.

My dad was so gentle before.

Elena talked with them like their children. My dad was strict, and he had a cold and menacing aura around him. I never imagined he was so gentle to Elena.

It was the first time I've heard him laugh. He even teased Elena so much. Look!!! Elena was still shocked. But he was not wrong. We were a young couple, but ah, I couldn't say that we are a couple yet. I meant our relationship was not that closed. Elena maybe fell in love with me, but all this time I left her alone. Will she forgive me? It made me depressed.

(Elena's POV)

They left me alone with Luke. What did they mean by a couple? They wanted me to be with Luke alone? I was not ready. My heart felt like it was about to burst. Please calm down Elena, it was okay, right? It was not the first time I was alone with Luke, right?. No, it was different. All the time, Luke was unconscious, but today he is conscious. I was embarrassed.

I gazed at Luke.

He is handsome. Luke gazed at me too.

"Why did you stand there, sit down," he said while the point at his side.

I walked towards him. I felt my face was hot at this moment.

"They truly left us alone," I said with aggrieve look.

"Yeah," Luke looked at his little wife. Did she look sad? Why? She didn't want to spend time with me alone? But Luke was wrong because he could look at his little wife red ears, ah she was shy. He pulled Elena to his arms, so soft like cotton.

I was shocked because Luke suddenly hugged me tightly. Why was he so strong?

He was sick, you know.

"Luke?" I called him with a soft voice.

"Let me hug you for a moment," he said while petting Elena's head, his little wife is cute while looking at him in his arms.

Ah ah ah ah ah, what was this? Let me hug you for a moment? It was a word from a romance novel. Eh, wait a minute, since when Luke was a romantic person? I meant he never acted romantic towards the heroine. Eh? Did I transmigrate to the wrong novel?
