Time travelling from the majestic era after the Recuperation of Reiki, he became Kimura Kazuki, a 16-year-old high school student in Japan, one year before the Reiki Recuperation.
Tentatively, he set out to hone himself to the bone, burning candles at both ends to stockpile resources in preparation for the imminent Recuperation of Reiki. His goal was to be many steps ahead of all humanity when the time comes.
However, it seemed like fate had decided to play a cruel trick on him.
One year later, the Recuperation of Reiki... did not happen as expected.

Great so far. I like that it isn't a run of the mill cultivation story. All in all a great first 10 chapters. If I have one complaint though, it would be because of the lack of character interactions. The world is still small and it didn't get any larger during the duration of these chapters.

This book is just about ghost busting nothing special and it will remain so until the end it's a book of disappointment. Went to the raw to check if it will change to a cultivation world but it doesn't just "Chinese ghost buster in Japan" that would be a more fitting name for the book

Ch.26, Apparently this is a dropped novel being translated after the thought. At this moment, the writing is good, but EXTREMELY slow. This could pass as a soap opera with the amount of useless fluff, and I don’t think anyone reading this expected it. Think your getting into an actually seriously written action webnovel? Think again, it will never happen, mark my words. Go find an already written one and suck it up that you started it after it was finished and you will find none of the enjoyment that characterizes following webnovels. Don't has much chapters but actually is interesting, now(chap 12) is like a cultivating and school like history but probably something happen soon. I'm waiting for more, I don't usually read novels in this style but wish that continue be good and reik be with you :p Sorry about any English mistake, I am learning.
chapters seems too short and story doesn't seemed to move up. It feels like while watching slideshow of pictures even before reaching the end you get stuck somewhere in middle. Seems unreasonable to wait day or two then purchase coins/passes to unlock a chapter and after end of each chapter feel like got kicked in stomach. Please either Increase how much story develops in single chapter or request application finance team to decrease cost for coin and increasing power of passes as at most single pass unlocks single chapter that gives readers nothing but fillers between main events.It would be nice to have one pass unlock multiple chapters.

I shall praise the author for delivering such fine story and characters focusing not only on supernatural phenomenons but with deep care on exploring martial art as well as cultivation. Surprising for me was the growth for both the main and secondary characters, his friends, who are well fleshed out and support as well as drive him in his adventures. The flow of the story seems natural and you will not find any major time lapses. Most of the plot, as of chapter 151, takes place in almost real time with a slighly different Tokyo as the background. Romance, as light as it seems to be so far, is present although it is only one sided from one perspective as it could be found in other japanese or asian novel with the main character focusing on his objective rather than the other gender. I have watched lot of Animation so I don't have much hostility towards Japan or Japanese but some novels have taken the hatred towards Japan to another levels. But this novel has been altogether a good read as MC is from China but focuses on what truly mattered to him not giving his favouritism to any particular place or Country. That is one of thee factor apart from story line which truly attracted me to the novel.
Really good. There is a unique premise and even if the mc is strong since the beginning there is a power accumulation. The only problem is the author wasn't satisfied so he dropped the novel literally at the middle. The author had 2 volumes planned but when he ended the first he just dropped... Still it is a good novel, but unfortunately with a disappointing ending.
At first it was good n i really like it but after reading some chapters it suck 🖕😠😡and its getting more boring..and btw this novel is mixed with anime movie ..👎👎👎

It’s still to soon to truly judge this but what makes people angry is that we don’t know what type of story this is! Or what’s it about?! Cultivation? Horror? Post-apocalyptic? We don’t know anything despite a lot of chapters passing. Rarely interaction with characters, I love solo MCs but when you introduce characters that are close to MC, then you should show them, I’m relieved Chiba getting attention for now but it can change, who knows? Also the short chapters and cliffhangers, are not helping as it’s dragging a lot sadly. If he gets with the best girl, I think this’ll be worth reading. But I can’t trust CNs =/

Overall, not bad. It does, however, drag on a lot but I see potential. Side characters are interesting but underutilized. The plot is going in an unexpected direction, with a "monster of the week " format that kinda works.
I don't get why is this novel been translated if it has already been dropped by the author instead of other novels that are better and have been left forgotten by the translators?
