Her eyes widened in surprise.

An Nuan stared into Lin Xiao Feng's eyes, wondering if this man was joking. Perhaps, he was angry at her demand and this was his way of getting back at her.

She imagined that Lin Xiao Feng would step back and tell her that he was joking.

However, An Nuan soon realized that Lin Xiao Feng might not be joking.

Her heartbeat accelerated. Lin Xiao Feng's stare made it harder for her to breathe properly. An Nuan told herself to look away, but she could not make a move.

"You…" An Nuan managed to squeak after a long silence. "What are you saying?" She tried to smile but An Nuan could feel her muscles stiffen. "Lin Xiao Feng, don't joke around. This isn't funny."

"Do you think I'm joking?" Lin Xiao Feng placed a hand on the wall to block An Nuan from running away. 

Earlier, this girl teased him. He wanted to keep his secret, but An Nuan insisted on learning about it.
