Chương 100: Is This Gabriel Fake?

"Mm-hmm, I got it," Eriri replied softly.

Turning back to the car, she reached out and patted Reina's small head, giving her fox ears a gentle squeeze.

"Aoi, take them home for now," Eriri said as she pulled her hand back, glancing at Megumi, Aoi Kujo, and Shea. "If you have any questions, feel free to ask Yue-chan. She'll be happy to help. I'll head out now."

With that, Eriri quickly accessed Gabriel's location through the chat group and opened a world portal, stepping into Gabriel's room.

Gabriel, dressed neatly in her school uniform, was sitting cross-legged on her bed. Through her crossed, slender legs, a glimpse of her white cotton panties could be seen. Her long, glossy blonde hair was draped perfectly down her back, clearly well-maintained. Her sapphire-blue eyes sparkled, as beautiful as ever.

Her small, doll-like face was immaculate, showing no signs of makeup, yet flawless. Her pink lips were slightly pouted, revealing her displeasure in an adorably cute manner.

"I've been waiting for you for over two hours! Do you have any idea how I've endured these past two hours?"

Seeing Eriri appear before her, Gabriel's eyes briefly flashed with joy, but she quickly concealed it. She then sprang from the bed and leaped onto Eriri, wrapping her arms tightly around Eriri's neck and her smooth legs around her slender waist, sporting a look that clearly demanded comfort.

Gabriel's small stature, just over 1.4 meters tall, made her look petite. Her chest was flat, without any noticeable curves, but as she clung to Eriri, who was over ten centimeters taller, it didn't look out of place at all.

"Let's not talk about how you spent the last two hours. Judging by your appearance, you don't seem to have been slacking off at all. The room is clean and tidy. Did you do all this just to welcome me?" Eriri asked, holding Gabriel by the waist as she walked around the small, tidy room.

The room was unexpectedly clean, with none of the mess Eriri had imagined. The faint traces of moisture on the floor showed that Gabriel had recently cleaned up. This surprised Eriri, who recalled how Gabriel in the original series refused to clean up no matter how much Vignette begged her. But now, upon hearing Eriri was coming over, Gabriel had gone to great lengths to clean her room and make herself look like a perfect angel.

"Hmph, that's not it at all! I just felt like cleaning up suddenly," Gabriel huffed, turning her head to the side as a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.

Gabriel's tsundere behavior intrigued Eriri even more. Could this really be the same Gabriel?

"And where's that preparation you mentioned? Didn't you say you'd be all washed up and lying in bed waiting for me?" Eriri teased, patting Gabriel's butt as she carried her to the bed and sat down.

"Did I? What I meant was that I'd be ready to go to Asuna's world," Gabriel replied, trying to sound serious.

"That's cheating," Eriri laughed, gently pinching Gabriel's smooth cheeks.

Despite her unhealthy habits, Gabriel's angelic nature had left her face incredibly soft and delicate, showing no signs of wear and tear. A quick cleanup, and she instantly reverted to her flawless angelic appearance.

"I'm not cheating! I really did wash up! Smell me if you don't believe me—I still have the scent of shower gel," Gabriel protested, shaking her head and pulling her face away from Eriri's fingers.

Eriri leaned in and sniffed Gabriel's neck, inhaling the pleasant scent of a young girl mixed with a hint of cheap shower gel, which made her feel refreshed.

"Mm, not bad. Smells nice."

"Of course!" Gabriel said, lifting her head proudly. Then her tone changed as she placed her hands on Eriri's shoulders and shook them. "Let's hurry to Asuna's world. If we wait too long, we might miss the chance to buy the game headsets!"

"Alright, alright. Let's go now. Put on your shoes," Eriri said, giving Gabriel's soft, bare feet a gentle squeeze before placing her down on the bed.

Gabriel quickly put on a pair of black knee-high socks and pink sneakers. She added a pink jacket over her school uniform, leaving the zipper slightly undone, allowing a large red bow to peek out from the neckline.

Although the shoes and jacket weren't part of the uniform, they matched the black-and-red school skirt perfectly.

[Kashiwagi Eri: Asuna, Gabriel and I are about to head to your world. Are you still in class or somewhere else?]

Eriri double-checked with Asuna, knowing that the chat group's initial teleportation would place them right next to the member. She wanted to ensure they wouldn't be seen by Asuna's classmates.

[Asuna: I'm still in class. What's up?]

[Kashiwagi Eri: We'll appear right next to you when we cross over. To avoid your classmates witnessing something weird, it's better if you find a reason to go somewhere private.]

[Fallen Angel Black Cat: With your power, shouldn't it be easy to make sure ordinary people don't notice you? Why go to such lengths?]

[Kashiwagi Eri: The traces left by the world portal can't be hidden. Sure, we could go over and then erase or modify your classmates' memories, but it's better to avoid that if we can. Altering people's memories isn't exactly a good thing.]
