After placing all the children in a temporarily created dimensional space, Eriri led Arifureta, the others, and the five girls, including Cornelia, to the nearest town from the Imperial assassination unit's headquarters.
For Arifureta and the others, this teleportation method was nothing new. Even though Fubuki was initially a bit surprised, she quickly accepted it, considering Eriri's strength. However, Cornelia and the others—Tsukushi, Poney, Remus, and Gin—were filled with wonder as they looked around, amazed by how they had suddenly arrived in an unfamiliar place.
After all, they were just four- or five-year-old girls, with Cornelia only being around seven or eight. Their understanding of power was still limited. They had already been astonished by Mine and the others displaying energy slashes and energy cannons. Now, seeing Eriri teleport them directly to a new location only deepened their admiration.
Ignoring the awe in the girls' eyes, Eriri led the group to a relatively secluded area of the town, where there was a large vacant lot. Then, with a wave of her hand, she created a massive orphanage that could accommodate hundreds of children. The area around the orphanage was also landscaped with greenery.
Although it only took Eriri a few seconds to build the orphanage, its facilities were incredibly complete. Compared to the harsh living conditions of the assassination unit, this place was like heaven.
Eriri didn't hide her actions from Cornelia and the others, and from the stunned expressions on their faces, with mouths agape, it was clear how shocked they were. In the original story, these girls had great potential as assassins, and Eriri planned to have Akame and Kurome train them. After all, they had grown up together in the original plot, and Mine also needed companions to help her change the world.
However, in the end, their future would be their choice. If they preferred to stay in the orphanage and live a peaceful life, Eriri wouldn't force them into anything.
Eriri then released the rest of the children from the dimensional space. However, she had deliberately ensured they weren't aware of what had happened during the transition. When they learned that the newly built orphanage would be their new home, many of the children, who had experienced the brutal training of the assassination unit, were overjoyed. Some couldn't help but explore their new home.
At this point, the children no longer looked at Mine, Akame, and Kurome with fear. Instead, they were filled with gratitude, realizing that it was thanks to the trio that they now had this opportunity for a better life. Many also admired their strength, recalling the power they had displayed during the earlier battle.
Next, Eriri scoured the entire Empire for five people best suited to run the orphanage and instantly transported them to the facility. She handed them all the money seized from the assassination unit. These individuals had no familial attachments, so their disappearance didn't affect anyone else.
Under Eriri's influence, the town residents didn't find the sudden appearance of an orphanage strange at all. In their memories, this orphanage and the children within it had always been part of the town.
After arranging everything, just as Eriri was about to ask Cornelia and the others about their plans for the future, they came to her first.
"Eriri-sama, please teach us how to become stronger!" Cornelia knelt before Eriri, with Tsukushi and the others following suit, all looking at her with eager eyes.
"Oh? You don't plan to stay in the orphanage and live a peaceful life? You should know that the path to becoming strong comes with many dangers," Eriri said, even though she had already intended to train them. However, she still wanted to ask the question.
"I'm not afraid! I want to be as strong as Mine, Akame, and Kurome!" Cornelia declared with determination.
The girls had bonded with Mine, Akame, and Kurome during their time together. After all, they were around the same age and had gone through similar experiences, giving them much in common.
"I do too! I want to become strong like Cornelia!" Tsukushi said with a determined expression, echoed by the other girls. Their desire to grow stronger had ignited after witnessing the power displayed by Mine and the others, and especially by Eriri.
"Alright then. Since you've made your decision, I'll give you the chance to become stronger." Eriri nodded, satisfied with their resolve—and, of course, the fact that they were all cute girls played a role.
Eriri then extended her finger and gently tapped the foreheads of each girl, planting an energy seed within them. Through their efforts and training, this seed would gradually allow their strength to grow, potentially reaching the third tier or even beyond.
"Alright, I've given you the foundation for power. You should feel the warmth inside you now—that will be your source of strength. As long as you train diligently, you'll become stronger and stronger," Eriri said, ruffling their hair with a soft smile.
"Thank you, Eriri-sama!" Cornelia and the others gratefully bowed to Eriri, feeling the heat within their bodies. Even their physical strength had increased several times over, giving them boundless energy.
At that moment, Eriri had become their faith, the meaning of their existence.
Rias, Nodoka Haramura, and Fubuki watched enviously. If they had received an energy seed, they would still need to train hard, but at least they wouldn't need to spend so many points on upgrades.
As for Elaina, she didn't lack for points at all—her hundreds millions of points were more than enough to reach the peak of Level 6, even approaching Level 7. Arifureta and Shinobu didn't need to worry about points either. With Eriri's affection for them, how could they ever lack points?
Eriri then arranged for the five girls to train with Mine, Akame, and Kurome, hoping they could become extraordinary beings within the next few days.
At that moment, Mine suddenly spoke up: "Oh, by the way, sister, Akame, Kurome, and I gathered some Teigu like Muramasa and a few other strange weapons from the assassination unit."
She then, along with Akame and Kurome, took out the weapons they had collected after killing the assassins, retrieving them from their storage rings.
Akame showed no interest in Muramasa. While Teigu were the most powerful weapons in this world, compared to the weapons Eriri had created, they were nothing more than trash.
Eriri took Muramasa from Akame's hand and swung it a few times. Its appearance wasn't much different from an ordinary katana. It was said that any cut from Muramasa would instantly spread a deadly curse that couldn't be cured, swiftly killing the victim.
However, that was only true relative to those weaker than the curse itself. For someone whose strength exceeded the limit of the curse, it would have no effect and would automatically be dispelled.
Just like now, Eriri could grab the blade with her bare hand, and Muramasa couldn't even scratch her delicate skin.
Eriri then casually flicked the blade with her finger, and with a crisp "crack," the sword snapped in two.
"So this is the one-hit-kill Muramasa, huh? How weak. I didn't even use any force," Eriri said, sounding a bit disappointed.
She then ran her hand over the broken blade, and the shattered Teigu instantly returned to its original form.
"You're just too strong," Arifureta said, rolling her eyes at Eriri as she took Muramasa from her hand to inspect it. "This sword should be able to affect Third Level fighters."
"Oh? Is this weapon really that powerful? It seems pretty ordinary to me," Shinobu, the petite girl, remarked, arms crossed as she observed Muramasa in Arifureta's hand with curiosity.
The others were also intrigued, examining the various weapons Mine, Akame, and Kurome had collected.
"Shinobu, you haven't seen the original story, so you wouldn't know. The curse in this Teigu is powerful enough to kill the strongest in this world," Arifureta explained.
"Well then, hurry up and upload the story to the chat group! I can't wait to watch it," Shinobu said excitedly to Eriri and Arifureta.
"No problem," Eriri said with a nod, immediately uploading Akame ga Kill to the chat group, which pleased the other group members.
After seeing the new memory image appear in the chat group, Shinobu walked up to Eriri, spreading her arms wide.
"Eriri, hold me. I'm going to watch the memory images."
Without a second thought, Eriri picked up Shinobu. After all, holding Shinobu like this had become second nature to her. Wrapping her arms around Shinobu's small frame, she supported the little girl's body with one hand, her right hand gently resting on her tiny bottom to prevent her from falling.
Shinobu, in turn, wrapped her legs around Eriri's slim waist, resting her head on Eriri's chest as she closed her eyes and immersed herself in the memory images from the chat group.
Arifureta and the others weren't surprised at all by the interaction between Eriri and Shinobu. However, Mine, Akame, and Kurome watched Shinobu with envy. They wanted to be held by Eriri in such a close, intimate way too. Although Eriri had hugged them in the three days they had lived together, they had never experienced such an affectionate embrace.
"Eriri-sama, are these also Teigu?" Rias picked up a long sword from the pile of weapons, inspecting it. The blade looked very similar to Muramasa, although the hilt had a different design.
"These aren't Teigu; they're much weaker than Teigu. They're called Shingu," Eriri explained with a smile, glancing at Rias. "If you're interested, you can keep this Shingu."
"In that case, I won't be polite," Rias said, accepting the weapon.
She planned to take it back to her world for study, to see if it could be replicated.
Even if it couldn't be replicated, the Shingu could still fetch her some extra points in the chat group.
"Nodoka, Fubuki, you two should also pick one. Even if you don't need it, you can trade it for points in the chat group," Eriri suggested, while affectionately stroking Shinobu's golden hair as she spoke.
She then looked at Elaina with a playful smile. "As for you, I suppose you don't need one, right? After all, you're not exactly short on points."
"Hmph, who said I didn't want one?" Elaina pouted at Eriri and, along with Nodoka and Fubuki, picked out a Shingu from the pile.
Although these weapons were the spoils of Mine, Akame, and Kurome, none of the trio had any objections to Eriri's arrangements. They had intended to offer both Muramasa and the other Shingu to Eriri from the start.
Arifureta had quickly grown tired of playing with Muramasa. Once the initial novelty wore off, the Teigu seemed no different from any ordinary scrap metal. She handed it back to Eriri, without any intention of trading it for points in the chat group.
But since Eriri's hands were occupied—one holding Shinobu and the other stroking her hair—she had no free hand to take the sword.
Compared to Shinobu, Muramasa was insignificant to Eriri. There was no way she'd let go of her hold on Shinobu just to catch the sword.
So she simply used her powers to levitate Muramasa and floated it over to Mine.
"Mine, keep Muramasa and the rest of the Shingu," she instructed.
Then she added, "You can decide what to do with them—whether to give them away or trade them for points in the chat group."
Eriri didn't bother asking for Akame and Kurome's opinion. First, they had no interest in the weapons. Second, they weren't members of the chat group, so they couldn't use the Shingu to exchange for points to increase their strength.
