Art transmigrated into the body of Art Albright, a fresher of Card Engineering major at 'Watford Institute of Card Arts' in a parallel world.

The parallel world was invaded by other world entities whose aura abilities proved to be unmatched in the face of the science and technology of humans allowing them to demolish human civilization with ease.

Desperate for their survival, humans sought haven in the teachings of their ancestors, the Ancient knowledge of Card Arts. With their newfound aura ability, humans began to fight for their home world. Since then the parallel world has been plagued with war between humans and other world invaders.
