Chương 15: Chapter 15: She Is Something Special

Leonel’s POV

My skin was still stinging from where I touched her. The mate bond was truly something incredible, something I had never once thought would be this intense.

But here, even after I left the training ground, even after I left Clare’s presence, I could still feel the sensation of her skin on mine.

I went straight to her father, flashing my pass wherever I found opposition to my entry. And like with Clare, it worked with all of them without hesitation.

And soon, I was at the office of Clare’s father. I knocked, and after identifying myself, I was taken into the room by a servant.

“Leave us,” Clare’s father said to the servant, who nodded and followed orders.

And then we were alone in the room.

“Leonel,” he greeted, a stiff smile on his face. “How can I help you?”

There were no other pleasantries, but truth be told, I didn’t really need it.
