Chương 2: The sorting and a familiar face
Every time I am alone, I can hear "you can quit if it makes you suffer"
Deep like a black hole, a scary yet luring sweet voice
I mimic how you talk and said I was fine
I don't care if it's a lie, as long as it becomes a reason to keep standing

An oval mirror with a black and silver frame above a fountain spouting green water at the center of a large room filled with floating coffins.
While the students were sorted divided in seven groups as the chatted amongst themselves with excitement.
At the front of them, one of the Dorm leaders, a young man with brownish-red hair mid-lenght hair. Looking at his group with his silver eyes staring directly at them,"Is that all for the new student dorm assignments? Listen up, new students. Here in Heartslabyul, I am the rules. Break them and it's off with your head."
A yawn escaped at the man with lion ears, "Uuuugh. The stuffy ceremony is finally over. We are going back to the dorm. Savanaclaw, follow me." He stared at the students in his line.
While another young man with wavy silver hair and pale blue eyes with glasses. He looked at his group with his 'friendliest smile', "To the new students, congratulations on entering this academy. Enjoy your life here to its fullest. As the dormitory leader of Octavinelle. I will support you to the best of my ability."
"By the way were did the headmaster go? He flew out right at the middle of the ceremony..." Asked a tall handsome man with shoulder length blond hair and violet eyes as he pulled his hood down to fix his hair.
"Abandoning his post..." responded the voice from the floating tablet with a tri-forced in the screen.
"Did he get a stomachache or something?" The choppy white haired man with red eyes wearing a purple turban decorated in golden ornament patterns questioned.
"Not at all." As well said man barges in and held a grey cat and a strange white animal with a white cape that they never seen such an animal before around his cord.
"Ah, he's here." Said the red-haired man.
All the students see their headmaster carrying a tied up grey cat creature. Though what caught their attention was behind him seeing a student with their blue eyes that filled with kindness.
They never seen this kind of student before around the school and assumed this is a newbie who arrived later.
The wavy haired headmaster made his way toward the mirror standing in front holding a struggling Grim and Fou who glared him to death, as Sora stood few meters away from him.
Crowley turned to face his students and sighing, hurt that his students would think he would abandon his responsibilities.
"I cannot believe you all. We were missing one new student, so I went to find him." Then Crowley turned torwards her. "You are the only one yet to be assigned a dormitory.I shall watch over the raccoon and this strange animal, now step in front of the Dark Mirror."
Sora did as he told her and took a step in front of a mirror who reminded her about disney, as the theatrical mask appeared surrounded by green flames inside the mirror. Which didn't suprised her since this world would common here.
"State thy name.... Young Lady..." The mask spoke to her in a shakespeare tone that shooked by everyone that the mirror revealed that student is a girl especially Crowley as he muttered something that the students never heard him.
"Never in my hundred years I never witnessed that the ebony carriage brought a girl here especially this is an all-boys school perhaps is there something gonna happen in the future?"
"My name is Fujimaru Sora." She replied with her soft tone.
"The shape of thy soul is..." The mask looked at her for a moment to think were to sort to her.
"I do not know." Said the mask in the mirror.
"Come again?" Crowley asked looking at the mirror with a stunned expression.
"That Child's shape of her soul does not suit in any dormitory. Her soul is so pure like a snow that wanted protect everyone even if they are evil. Such purity haven't I seen in any of this sorting before is truly beautiful." The mirror of darkness discribted why she would not fit in any dormitory however the students and the headmaster seems not to get it only the small man who lived longer than anyone else seemed to get it.
Crowley looked at Sora in curiousity and then turned away from here, "What in the world is going on...?"
The headmaster seemed to have his guard down a bit that Fou and Grim freed themselve of this so called 'cord of love'.
"Mghmgh... Pah!" Grim gasped as he was finally freed from the whip. Then yelled out, "Then I'll take her place!"
However before the monster cat pointed at her and unleashed his fire around, Fou attacked with his paw at Crowley on his face which the headmaster fell back that shocked everyone that the small animal managed to attacked their headmaster yet some were amused and tried to hold their laughter at this comical sight while Sora facepalmed her face.
The former beast continued to scratch on Crowleys face while the floating tablet guy recorded this and most of the students snapped secretly photos on their phone.
"Get off on my face you strange creature and stay right here! Racoon!!"
"Fou!"
[This is for grabbing me without a second thought you bastard and that is for keeping me in this cord with that racoon bastard! You are more terrible than Merlin bastard who threw me out of his sorry excuse fucking high-up tower!]
Every single students especially the lion man who learned animal languages holded their laughter and felt sorry for this strange animal, while Grim didn't know he should be amused or insulted but he shoked his head as he had a plan in mind to burn down this school to make him as a student.
"Fou... How long did I take care of you and feed you?" Sora asked her familiar in disbelief.
Grim then pointed his paw at Sora as wearing a cocky cat-smile.
"Unlike this dumb human who can not to be sorted, I can use magic! Let me in the school instead! If you need proof, I'll show you right now!" Grim smirked while inhaling with smoke coming out of his mouth.
That caused Sora to summoned her large shield and make an high jump that lit her hood up which revealed her whole face but everyone was focused what the grey cat doing is going to do when the redhaired boy yelled at them, "EVERYONE, GET DOWN!"
"Nnnaah~!!" Grim released the fiery blue flames out of his mouth making everyone duck down and setting the room on fire.
The pink haired girl landed at the whitehaired man with red eyes that wears a purple turban on his head before the fire caught him. His eyes wided as Sora protected him with her shield and looked at him.
"Are you okay? You didn't got hurt did you?" She asked the man who is still frozed but nodded to the shield maiden who blocked the fire.
Sora was relieved that the man was fine and headed out to aid someone who needed help who also caught the fire. The red eyed man still watched her in amazed that she still holds her shield with pride to protect everyone.
"At this rate, the school will be a sea of fire! Somebody, catch that tanuki!" Crowley that he somehow freed himself off Fou's attack still has scratches on his face ordered his students.
The man with lion ears scoffed, "Che! Suck-ups."
"Hmm? Aren't you good at hunting? Doesn't it look like a nice, plump snack?" The handsome man asked with a smirk.
The man with lion ears glared at him replying back, "Why me? Do it yourself."
"Mr. Crowley, please leave it to me. I'm sure the others couldn't stomach harassing the poor creature, so I will take it upon myself." The silvery blue haired man volunteered with a smile.
As floating tablet stated, "That's Azul for you. Always try to earn himself points."
"Are you all even listening!?" Shouted a furious Crowley as Sora finished to help the student. Her shield and her strange tattoo that she got earlier reacted somehow.
The man with lion ears crossed his arms and said, "If it's just catching some stupid raccoon, can't you do it yourself, Teach?"
"How many times do I have to tell you, I'm not a raccoon!The Great Grim that will become the greatest magician is me!" Exclaimed Grim.
The pink haired girl looked at her hand and realized what that is and why her shield reacted then she started to chant the incantation from what her father and her teacher taughted her however Sora chant a whole another level.
"I call forth into time and space,
To the heroes of legend who through the wishes crystallized."
She phrased the first verse as her appeared several light blue orbs on her shield and everyone felt the heavy air of mana on her. The small man wided his eyes as he recognised what the shield maiden planned.
"One of the individual,
One of the collective
And one of civilization.
These are the final wishes of humanity from my world."
The orbs started to changed its colour into rainbow and started to swirl. The magenta eyed man wanted to see who Sora is gonna summon on her shield.
As I stand upon the infallible boundary, before the brink of its destruction, Take form from legend, armed to fight once more.
From the collapse, we will forge a path again. And from that path, we will carve a future of full possibilities.
Through you, I embody change. And through me, you embody will.
To those written into legend of Good and Evil,
from Men, from Earth, from heaven.
To those who hail to heed the call,

The swirls split into three parallel circle lines then it comes together again to make pillar of lights that nearly blinded by everyone except Sora.
As the lights was gone a man in his early thirties with long loose hair. He wore a red coat with golden ornamentations on its shoulders and his face bore a tremendously sour expression as he recognised who summoned him along with the power that the heroic spirit left him behind.
Sora was nervous when her private teacher in his youthful years sighed at her. "What can I say that the certain troll brought you here and even as a master candidate to the boot, Fujimaru Sora."
"Velvet-sensei."
The pink haired teen gluped and most of the students were awed and shooked at the fact that she summoned a PERSON instead of creature that she called her teacher.
'Velvet-sensei' scanned the entire room that is now covered in blue flames and looked at his student who pointed at the grey cat that caused at this mess, continued to spatt fire everywhere and Fou chased after him then sighed.
"Master please give me the information what exactly happened with full detail later and let me prepare to stunt this cat for awhile."
She nodded and ran off to the two students who started to do something.
The man with glasses looked at the brownish-red haired man, "It certainly has moxie. Care to help me, Riddle?"
"Mmph, I can't overlook those who breaks rules. Let's hurry and get it." Exclaimed Riddle.
"I will assist you guys!" As the mens turned around to see the shield maiden with blue eyes that filled with kindness and determination who stares at them serious and continued as she pointed her teacher who gather the mana around him that they never seen such a person before,
"My teacher also will help us to and we needed to wait till he is done by gathering." Sora informed them and they nodded at her, also relief that her teacher who appeared out of nowhere helped them unlike Crowley.
The headmaster started to sneezes as if someone started to think bad at him.
Riddle, the silver haired man with glasses, Fou and Sora started to chase after Grim.
Grim turned around as they is already behind him.
"Gaaah!" He screamed as he ran faster building some distance from the group then Velvet-sensei stopped them to run after him while he raises his feather fan.
"Students! Hold your breaths I will show what capable this maze made of! Do not think that fights are only fought with strenght all alone!"
Turning his head around to seeing that they was no longer behind him. "Ha as if you can outrun the Great Grim— Nygah!"
Grim was suprised when it grow slightly dark and above was misty then eight pillars came out of the mist around him then a yin-yang octagon plate glued the pillars together that made Riddle and the silver haired man awed at his magic.
"This is the great strategist's ultimate position.
Unreturning Formation [Kaezeru no Jin]!"
"Guuh!" The grey cat was paralysed by the effect of the noble phantasm that he can not move for awhile.
"Break it if you can."
Then Velvet-sensei vanished his fan as if its over then looked at the children with his stern expression.
"Now then can someone hold the cat for awhile? My noble phantasm will eventually loosed up the effect." Stated Sora's teacher.
Riddle coughs a bit and say, "I can do that"
He nodded holding Grim out of him.
"[Off with your head!]" Riddle shouted as a red and black heart shaped collar appeared around Grim's neck.
"Nygah! The heck is this, yanno!?" Screamed Grim while he still paralysed.
Then Riddle announced, "Laws of the Queen of Hearts Number 23: 'One shall never bring a cat into a festival.' You being a cat means you've broken the rule. I shall have you leave at once."
"Wow, as wonderful as ever. Any and all magic gets sealed by your Unique Magic, Riddle." Azul praised the short man.
Velvet then frowned as he recognised that this Riddle boy has the same face from his disciple and the king of knights.
..well at least this is a male though who had unfortunately has that same face that nearly blew him with her holy sword at him at least he still lives.
Then Azul turned up to him to praised him aswell but Velvet holded him back as he pointed at Sora who held Fou around her arms.
"I know what you gonna say student of this school but this is all thanks to her who summoned me. What would be happened If she didn't do it and didn't helped to stop this fire? The cat would continued to spread this fire more and your school will be on ashes." Velvet let the students think what would be happened if Sora wasn't there and the silver haired man then speak to her.
"Thank you for your assistance Fujimaru-san. We are really gratefull that you also helped us and as a dorm leader from octaniville welcomed into our bar if you have time of course." Azul smiled at her as the brownish-red haired boy who nodded in agree.
Velvet then listened what his student actually happened to her at the beginning and the end. They also made a small bounded field from themselve that prevent listening as they started to walk through the burned hallway. As Sora finished the explanation to her teacher, he frowned and then he sighed.
"This isn't something new that the troll was bored and involved to you aswell. I do think your real body is also here aswell since you summoned me of course that also effected that this world still left some of their age of gods." Velvet thought loudly and they cancelled the bounded field as they arrived to the burned room.
They see Crowley with an annoyed expression.
He began to scold at her, "You must do something about this! It's one of your familiars afterall! So Properly discip---"
"Grim isn't mine." Stated Sora and Velvet-sensei seemed to observe the man who falsely accused her student.
He then stares at her, "Eeh?! It's not yours?!"
"Of course this isn't her familiar. After all I know this reckless student of mine she wouldn't lie like that who would hurt someone." Velvet-sensei defended her.
Crowley then looked at the man with long hair and narrowed his eyes at him as Velvet did aswell.
"Who might you be? And don't worry of this racoon we going to throw him out of this school and you aswell who ever might be."
Then a male student took Grim and dragging him out of this school.
"Gyaaaa! Let me go!" Cried out Grim, struggling to get out of the student's grasp.
"I'm going to, going to...Become the greatest magician!" He declared as he was dragged out of the room.
The caster servant raised an eyebrow at him, "Oh this is really an empty threat you have here headmaster of this school and I don't think you should throw this racoon out like a trash that would like to learn in this school aswell or is this a intelligent creature like him forbidden to learn here?"
The crow man glared at him. "Well this is the school ground rule that no creature like him," He pointed at Grim who glared everyone in this room, "Are not allowed here unless they are familiar bound of its master and did I not tell you should tell your name?"
Velvet-sensei glanced at Sora who nodded that here this world do not seemed to recognised him that he is a pseudo-servant out of this world and sighed, "Oh well since we are not on our own world, you guys of this realm would not recognised a highest rank of familiars. I am Servant Caster Zhuge Liang aswell I am actually El-Melloi the Second."
"Servant...?" The headmaster questioned himself but he coughed to gain every students on him, "We had a bit of trouble along the way but this brings the entrance ceremony to a close. Dormitory Heads, please show the new students back to the dormitories."
Looking around Crowley noticing that one of dorm leaders was missing, "Hm? Now that I think about it, I don't see the leader of Diasomnia, Mr. Draconia, around at all..."
"That's no different from usual, is it?" Stated the man with lion ears who rather wanted to listened to the long haired man than to the headmaster because he was interested at him aswell to this shield maiden.
The man in the purple turban asked finding fault at the other dorm leaders, "What? Did nobody tell him about the ceremony?"
"If you're going to complain, you should've done it yourself." Retorted the blonde man.
The man in the turban crossed his arms looking down and said, "Hmmm. But I don't really know anything about that guy."
Hearing what was said from the headmaster and dorm leader's conversation, whispers filled the room once again.
"By Draconia... Do they mean 'that' Malleus Draconia?" Asked a student.
"Is he seriously attending this school?"A second student questioned.
A third student muttering out quietly, "Scary..."
"Hm so I was correct then." A deep voice replied, startled the girl to see a pale skinned man standing next to her and her teacher.
The pale skinned man with short dark hair with pink streaks sticking out of the sides noticed holding back a laugh.
'To think this year would be certainly interesting...' He thoughed as the small man curiously eyed them then looked back and said, "I thought he might come but Malleus really didn't. It seems the invitation "never arrived" again."
"My deepest apologies. I promise, we didn't intend to exclude him." Azul said with a 'sincere' tone.
Riddle added, "His aura makes it hard to approach him."
"Who as a person was on charge over this? I would make sure any importent person should be invited or else they would be pissed!" Velvet snarked at everyone that Crowley quietly went to the corner and the small man that he assumed that the man is far older than them as his appearance.
"It's fine. Members of the Diasomnia Dormitory can come with me." The pale skinned man told them. Guiding the students out the room he muttered out, "I hope this doesn't upset him... again..."
After that all the students left, leaving Sora, Fou, Velvet-sensei and Crowley are the only one in the room. Crowley sighed turning to them, "Then, Sora, Fou and El-Melloi the Second I'm terribly sorry about this but..
We must have you leave the school even if you helped us were really grateful but you have to leave with your familiars."
Velvet however holded off on him. "I'm sorry I must say this... but its impossible to bring us home that is far, far away of this world." He stated to the headmaster who looked at them in disbelief.
"What do you mean? I certainly sure that the mirror of darkness bring you guys home and what do you mean that you came far away of this world?"
Velvet-sensei and Sora explained the situation again to the headmaster who quietly listened to them then started to think.
Placing a hand on his chin he said, "I've never heard that this would be possible happen before. I have a general grasp of that but let's go do some research in the library."
Waver Velvet, Sora and Fou stared the headmaster who guided them to the libary in deadpanned as they started to follow him.
