Chương 1: In Apa of Alapa's Palace
Some nine years ago or more before Adisa met his mysterious stoutful death along the three footpaths that met very near to ajero merket square, Adisa and Oke had entered a sincere agreement which centered on a transfer of a huge piece of land belonging to Oke.
Initially, the contract was perceived to be established between the two parties out of friendship. As a matter of costomary arrgment and traditional norms, the contract weighed more heavily then how Adisa as and Oke saw it at the initial stage. The agreement witnessed the presence of the King of Alapa, and some notable figures in the village and support of ancentral hands.
It all started two years after Awero and Adisa gave birth to their only child mad son, Abiodun came into this world, the couple had been moving from one difficult situation to another encircled by delay in their child bearing. The reason for this delay was not known to them. It was believed to be natural and ephemeral.
While the delay lasted, Awero wouldn't stop wearing petulant kind of attitude which was readily notice in her life style at that period. She got more frustrated and impatient whenever she saw the village young ladies of her age bracket who were married and carrying their babies about in rifined sprited motherhood. The couple adopted several strategies and applied utmost effort. Awero eventually received her fruit of the womb from the gods. This period marked an end of her unforgettable an enchanted experience in her life
