Chương 100: Either forever or never

Archer's breathing turned shallow, "Stay put, Elvina," he warned her as he stepped out of the nightclub.

Gold followed them quickly. Hey, hey, dude, don't forget me as soon as you got the woman in your arms!

Archer's footsteps came to a halt and a man picked Gold up in his arms at the snap of his fingers. 

Elvina's playful expression disappeared. 

"He is my bodyguard," Archer tucked the loose strand of her hair behind her ear and explained when he noticed the cautious expression on her face before he looked at the cat, "I will see you later."

Gold was initially alerted when someone picked him up but hearing Archer's words, he relaxed.

'Meow' Unpredictable humans. He yawned lazily. 

Archer helped Elvina in the passenger seat of the car before he went to the driver's seat. 

He started driving and the car sunk in silence. 

Elvina could not make out anything from his expressions, "So, we are back on the deal right?"
