Chương 15: Game

Bryan discovered that Mister Pyg seemed to have spotted his little charade and he stopped for a second, but when he saw that he had no intention of stopping him and only looked at him, with that creepy smile on his face, he got chills thinking that, he didn't get mad by his blatant actions on completely disregarding him.

But then soon he became bolder because he doesn't seem to be doing anything, and it gave him a sense of newfound courage so he tried to perfectly gesture his hand signals with the other two young women, even by exaggerating it a lot for it to get through them.

The two young women earlier were nearly there in trying to sort out Bryan's actions as they already had processed what they'd seen in their eyes and found out a way to put it all together.

Suddenly, both of them saw that he was making a deep pause and looked as though he was making a very grim expression on his face, and upon seeing that look, their hearts skipped a beat, and they both knew that his final gesture would soon arrive, so they stopped their thoughts temporarily and tried to focus on him in rapt attention to deeply analyze his final movement.

"Not talking? In two words Death!" Lisa saw that familiar movement and in an instant, the life of her face drained in a heartbeat and was deathly pale. Now, she realized that she would have died earlier if she had uttered a single word or screamed.

Thinking like this made her feel relieved and frightened at the same time. Afterward, Lisa apologized to Bryan in her mind as she was being excessively too harsh on him and thought that, though what she did to her was uncomfortable, at least she was still alive and kicking. Then, as he was thinking of him, a surge of gratitude suddenly washed through her heart as she thanked him countless times for saving her life.

Subsequently, Bryan concluded his movements with a throat-slicing motion, implying that death is imminent. His message was well-received by the other two young women, as shown by both of them giving him a thumbs up.

Bryan grinned and was pleased that his efforts would be able to save all of them. Unexpectedly, he felt a light tap on his arm.

He glanced over and saw Lisa staring at him with those pitiful black eyes of hers, and she pointed her dainty finger at his palm which was closely gripping her mouth tightly, and then motioned to him in a way, that indicates that she is okay for the time being and removing her hand would be fine now.

Upon seeing that scene, Bryan first checked to see if she really understood them by showing her some basic hand gestures, and upon seeing that she really understands it, he was relieved.

He then slowly drew his hand away from her mouth, and some drooling saliva was streaming down his hand and falling to the floor. After that, both of them saw a few bites marks caved into his hand, and seeing that embarrassing display, Lisa blushed and she immediately tried to wipe away her saliva using her long sleeves.

When Bryan saw what she was doing, he smiled at her casually and was having no intention of stopping her; and after some time passed, her saliva was completely gone, then Lisa glanced at Bryan's face, and upon seeing that handsome side profile, her cheeks flushed red and she gestured a thank you sign and a small bow in his direction.

Bryan grinned and motioned for her to stop thanking him and to remain quiet from now on. Lisa flushed even more after seeing that grin; her heart then fluttered like a butterfly, and she felt more at ease by being next to him.

Mister Pyg was fascinated as he watched the scene unfold in front of him and thought, "They still have the energy to flirt in this manner? This bunch of brats? Who still didn't have hairs under there yet? And don't they realize they're still in a dangerous situation right now? I must admit, humans are very intelligent but sometimes dumb," Mister Pyg said with a frown and shook his head in disapproval.

When the other two young women saw what was going on, they were suddenly visibly annoyed while looking at both of them. In particular, Mia envied Lisa due to the fact that Bryan was overly being sweet to her; and she wished Bryan would do the same to her as well.

Sophia, on the other hand, smiled when she saw that the both of them were all fine. And, as a medical student and a compassionate person, she absolutely enjoys witnessing and helping those in need because it brightens her day. Yet, Sophia isn't sure why she was upset when she saw Bryan and Lisa having a nice time, but then she soon learned that looking for a reliable person in times of need is definitely a good thing and she felt that Lisa was very fortunate to have Bryan by her side.

Mister Pyg had enough of looking at these two lovebirds taking their time together, so he coughed loudly, causing the sound to reverberate around the room, upon which jolting the pair out of their trance.

"The last rule I'm going to give you is that if you don't want to be a hero, then don't be a hero." Mister Pyg smiled and said, "The tutorial game will begin shortly, so pay attention to the advice that I'm about to give. This game tests your ability to see whether you're really worthy to survive in this cruel world." Mister Pyg turned to face the party and then a sinister smile appeared on his face.

The youths listened in rapt attention and some of them even took particular note of that last rule in their hearts, and then a few discreet glances were exchanged in the room as soon as Mister Pyg said the final rules.

"This game will bring your trust to the test; and I'm here to evaluate your performances; best of luck in surviving." Mister Pyg said and looking at them one by one.

The group's faces instantly became pale as they imagined the awful game they would be playing, and they were terrified even further upon knowing that this enormous pig would be the one to give them.

On the other hand, Bryan upon listening to Mister Pyg's rules vowed to himself that he would win this game and get the others back to safety.
