Scarlet tried her best to ignore Ian waiting patiently for her to give him a bit of attention. After two children she thought his need to be this close to her would decrease a bit but it only grew.
Scarlet looked in the mirror at Ian sitting behind her on the bed. "Whatever you are up to, do not try it. Is this about the school?"
"No. Can't a man just admire his wife?" Ian replied.
"He could but with you, there is so much more behind what you do. You can tell me the truth if you want them to attend that school. I am open to having my mind changed," Scarlet said, continuing to brush her hair as she watched Ian.
"As long as they make friends they will have for years to come, I don't mind if they are tutored here. Besides, I would be excited if my parents built a school just for me. Doesn't your family already have one?" Ian asked, remembering it mentioned once.
