Chương 1: Ethan And Bella's First Encounter
In a dimly lit room, a devilishly handsome guy with a beautiful smile on his face was seen drinking while playing with the ladies who threw themselves at him. With him in the room were his friends who were all accompanied by the most beautiful ladies the club could offer.
The expensive drink lying on the table showed that the occupants of the room were not only blessed with looks but also with money.
No wonder all the women in the club were fighting among themselves when it was time to choose who would be the one to keep them company.
Somewhere in the same club, a poor innocent girl who had led a hard life was seen in the dressing room changing back to her work outfit despite that it hasn't been up to five minutes she puts on her casual clothes.
Bella is just twenty-three years old but she thinks like someone who is in her forties.
Having lost both her parents at a young age with no family members to support her, she was forced by her circumstances to get mature at a young age.
She has lived all her life doing odd jobs to make ends meet. To fend for herself she didn't hesitate to take on the job in the club despite how decent of a girl she is.
Life never gives her a choice that is why she didn't have a choice but to accept the well-paid job in the club.
After putting on her work outfit, Bella stood in front of the dressing mirror staring at herself.
"If it was someone else other than Amanda who asked me to stand in for her during her night shift then I wouldn't have sacrificed my sweet night sleep for anything in this world," Bella muttered, walking towards the entrance which leads to the main club. Almost all the main who always spend the entire night at the club are douchebags. I can't believe I won't be able to escape from them tonight. The mere thought that I have to put up with their nonsense makes me angry.
Bella's thoughts wander around as she approached the direction of the club.
Reaching the main club, she bumped into the manager. If not that the manager sighted her, she would have ignored him.
"Bella", her manager called out to her.
"Here comes the nag!" Bella muttered inaudibly. She forced a smile at the guy whom she knows is in his early thirties. "I need you to go to the private room upstairs. We have very important guests. They are figures we can't afford to offend so make sure not to offend them in any way no matter what they do".
I will definitely not offend them if they respect themselves and behave but I can't say the same if any of them dares to disrespect me.
Bella thought forgetting to give Mr Patrick a response. She composed herself when her gaze met the face of the man waiting for her reply.
"Ok, Mr Patrick. I will be very careful with them," Bella said reluctantly.
"I won't be so polite if they dare try to harass me," Bella murmured before Mr Patrick could walk away.
"Did you say something?" Mr Patrick turned to me.
"Yes, I said I should get going so that I won't keep the guests waiting," Bella lied without any hesitation. She turned and walk towards where the stairs were located.
Despite how rowdy the club was Bella somehow found her way upstairs.

In the private room, Ethan and his friends were still having fun when a certain lady entered their VIP room. The lady with a tray containing two bottles of exotic whiskey cared less about the guests' appearance to stare at those whose orders she came to serve.
She didn't see the eyes of the notorious playboy in the city following every movement she made. Bella left the table and went to stand in a corner after she had displayed the drinks on the table.
Bella stood there at the corner like a robot. She didn't stare in the direction of the guests or the ladies flirting with the men.
She knew she will only make a scene if she watched the nonsense they were doing. So the best thing for her to do was to entirely ignore them and mind her business.
Ever since Bella stepped into the VIP room, a certain person has been staring at her nonstop and that person is none other than Ethan.
"What is wrong with you, Ethan? Are you even listening to what we are saying?" Benjamin, one of Ethan's friends asked with a frown.
Benjamin, a twenty-five years old handsome guy does not only have killer looks just like his best friend Ethan but he also has the money.
He and his friends have the three things money, looks and figures which are the three things that drive someone crazy.
These three things are the reason which makes women run after them and not the other way around like it is supposed to be.
"There is such a beautiful lady in your arms and you're lost in thought. Are you alright?" Benjamin asked surprised to see his friend acting so strange.
Ethan is the type to enjoy himself to the fullest when women are around him. He has no luxury to think but for the first time, he broke the record.
"Sorry guys, I don't know what came over me but let's continue partying," Ethan said with an awkward expression.
"Let me call the waiter to bring us some snacks," Ethan suggested to his friends. His friends' attention was too concentrated on their women to know that their best friend had ulterior motives in making such a suggestion.
After getting positive responses from his friends Ethan beckoned Bella to come closer. "Get us the best snacks your club can offer," Ethan ordered trying not to show his emotions just yet.
He has always been a jerk but he didn't know why something inside of him was pushing him to portray the good guy attitude.
