"So let me get this straight. You went back to the twelfth district on your own and met up with that Saintess girl… and she confessed to you!?"

As Fervis questioned Fervene, she shook her violently, to which her sister wailed in agony. Even I was surprised when Fervene explained what had happened to her. 'However, if Fervene and Sylis are now lovers, who was the person who hurt Fervene?'

While Fervene did explain to Fervis and me where she had been for the past five hours, she didn't say at all how she received all of those wounds. Fervis, who had been shaking her sister back and forth for the past minute, finally stopped and looked over at Fervene once more.

"So who was it that hurt you this badly, Fervene?"

After I posed the question to Fervene, she briefly paused before taking a deep breath and she flashed a wry smile to the two of us.
