To call it a home was a stretch; it was just a few shacks pieced together, neither windproof nor fully capable of keeping out the rain.

Before the shacks, there was a small vegetable garden, with some vegetables planted in it.

An old farmer, with a hoe on his back and a back so bent it resembled a hunchback, passed by and greeted him, "Mr. La... you're back?"

"Yes, I'm back."

Aaron nodded in acknowledgment.

"Alas... if you ask me, young man, you shouldn't aim too high, " the old farmer sighed as he walked on.
