The Group separated after dinner. The humans spent their time in front of the fire. While the vampires went out hunting. Lily showed her father's journal to Alona and let her read that. At first, Alona's opinion seemed doubtful, but now that she had seen the results of Professor Graff's investigation, she couldn't deny it anymore.

"Your father is unpredictable," said Alona.

"I didn't expect him to do that either," said Lily.

While Lily and Alona were discussing the contents of Professor Graff's notebook, Ryan seemed busy with his thoughts. He just stared at the fireplace near them, throwing something into it.

"You seem to have a lot on your mind," Lily said, patting Ryan's leg.

Ryan gasped and immediately turned to Lily. "I can't stay here too long. Hannah resigned, and I promised Cath to be away for two days."

Lily frowned as she looked at Ryan in disbelief. "Hannah resigned? Why so suddenly? Haven't you two worked together for a long time?"
