I don't own Fallout

"Garçon Run!" the words echoed in his head as his feet kicked up the snow behind him. It was a mistake. It was all a mistake.

Tears flowed from his eyes and stained the bandana she had given him. He shouldn't have run. He should've stayed and helped. She raised him from a young boy into a young teen… she found him in the ruins of a city once called 'Detroit'. At first she scared him, he didn't understand what she was or why she spoke in such an odd language… 'French' she called it. She tried to teach it to him… he wished he listened. Then as he got older and she stopped trying, he found out she was a 'Ghoul' an old ghoul from the pre-war times. She was a police officer, she helped people…

He should've STAYED AND HELPED… he pulled the bandana down from his face, the letters R.A.I.D in bold white crumpled in his grip as he tightened his hand on the small revolver she had given him for protection.

Those bastards at the trading post lied to them… there was no paradise North of the Wasteland. Just another branch of it. They had promised green trees and cold, pure, frozen water… All they found were cannibal clans and monstrous-sized creatures…

He turned on his feet… and ran back following his footprints.

He wished he didn't…

She looked so peaceful in the middle of the carnage… a dozen dead supermutants laid mauled and... well dead… except one. He tried crawling away from her, his legs gone, and he was heavily bleeding in the snow. He walked towards her, and took the heavy pistol, what she had called a Sequoia from her grasp, and checked the chamber. One bullet. He walked up behind the mutant and kicked it over to look him in the eye…

The supermutants of the Frozen North were different from those of the east and the west of the wasteland, covered in long thick fur that grew out of their shoulders and heads. It grinned knowingly at him…

"Weak… Human…" it began to laugh, its gaping sharp toothed mouth guffawing. Then he stopped as its teeth touched something hard and metal. Its eyes widened just in time to realize that the back of its head painted the snow in brains and blood…

The boy, now a man stared at the dead mutant coldly, before turning back to the woman who had been his mother for years… the four letters painted on her worn, patched chest armor. 'S.W.A.T.' had finally failed her after hundreds of years. Her lessons suddenly came back to him. 'Garçon. The dead don't need it anymore…' sadly biting his lower lip… he approached her body…

The armor was loose on his chest, and the coat, a heavy duster lined with ballistic lining was heavy. But he would get used to it. Her bullets, her Sequoia, and her empty assault shotgun were strapped to his body… he took the revolver she had given him and placed it tightly in her cold grip.

"…I'm so sorry…" he said, unable to stop the tears flowing as he began to bury her as best he could. He stood over her grave, a pile of rocks and dirt, ashamed he couldn't do more. He wiped the tears away with his R.A.I.D bandana and tied it around his neck. He reloaded the Sequoia, imagining the men who sent them up here to their deaths… he had more bullets than he needed. But he wasn't that great a shot anyway…

With one final sniff and a feeble wave to the grave. He turned on his heel and headed back south to warmer climates… he was barely on his way when he heard it. Or more aptly, them. He took cover behind a tree as three feral ghouls, monstrous degenerations of his mother, devouring the carcass a Great Wolf. A mutated canine indigenous to the frozen north, as big as a brahmin at full size… he was about to sneak away when he saw it… a tiny little pup, desperately nuzzling its dead mother…

The pistol was up before he could stop himself, and the first of the ghouls fell as its brains splattered into the snow. The second was down as it turned to face him, shrieking its warning to the other before it too fell to bullets… he popped the chamber of the gun open and quickly reloaded with practiced skill before snapping it shut and aiming around, checking for more ghouls… when none came he approached.

The tiny pup nuzzled its mother, it was barely bigger than a newborn baby. He yelped desperately for a moment, hungry or simply looking for attention… but none came. The boy tried to stop the tears again, but they kept coming… he kneeled down and slowly stroked the soft fur of the pup as it turned to him with bright blue eyes… He sniffed again and lifted the pup off the ground. It let him carry it.

It shivered in his arms… it was adorable… the boy took his bandana and wrapped the pup in it like a blanket, the pup stopped shivering and nuzzled into his arms… he smiled at the creature. And, Sequoia in hand, started walking once more…

-

"So then I told them. That's not a girl, that's a ghoul!" the laughter in the trading post echoed outside in the snow. The last civilized stop before the frozen north, now the first stop into the wasteland… the boy approached, the sequoia tight in his grip as he pushed the patched door open and stepped inside.

Three men, dirty, disgusting drifter types looked up. The one behind the counter stared a little surprised to see the boy. "You… you're alive…" he said softly.

"…You told us… my mother, and I…" the boy began, his voice harsh and cold like the north, "That we'd find a new life in the north…" the other two men on the other side of the counter looked at each other. And one tried reaching for his 10mm… he was screaming on the floor as his hand burst into blood, his fingers still twitching even though three of them were on the floor. The second man was smart, he ran for it. Diving through the window and running as fast as he could as the boy brought the sequoia to the trader who raised his hands in terror.

"W-wait! Wait!" he pleaded. "It's not personal! It's not what you think!" he shouted over his friend as he rolled on the ground clutching his stump of a hand.

"All your shotgun rounds…" the boy said. "And your 45-70." Then eyeing the bundle in his hand, "…And any Brahmin milk you got."

"Are you… robbing me?"

BANG! The weeping stopped as the man on the ground simply stopped moving, a pair of fresh new holes in his skull.

The sequoia's barrel returned onto the trader. "…My mother was worth more… but I'm feeling generous." He pulled back the hammer of the gun for emphasis. "…You don't have to be alive for me to get what I want…"

…Several rounds heavier, the boy fed the tiny little Great Wolf Pup in his arms… leaving the trader to clean up the mess.

4 years on.

"Fucking shit…" laughed the mayor of Salty Lake as half a dozen supermutant heads dropped onto his floor. "Y-you don't disappoint…" he hesitantly eyed a rolling eyeball. "Uh… is that… actually a seventh head?"

"Something like that…" the raven-haired man replied, his fingerless gloved hand scratching the large ears of his massive white wolf, (wearing a dark green and faded bandana) as it tilted his head into the scratch. "I'm also feeling generous and not charging you for the raiders I killed on the way either…"

The mayor smiled and waved to his secretary, a rather pretty blonde in the nicest dress he'd seen this side of the Great Rocks. "Here you go. 300 caps." He said as she placed the bag on the table…" the raven-haired man glared at the mayor for a moment who merely smiled, "I didn't forget." He chuckled, handing him a large box of ammo. "45-70. As requested." The man checked the box before placing it somewhere on his person and nodded his head.

"Pleasure as always Mayor Chet." The man replied, clicking his tongue as he turned, and the wolf followed.

"How about brahmin for dinner?" he asked the dog as it panted happily, its big blue eyes staring at his master as if smiling. "I thought so." He said, heading towards the butcher and getting dinner.

"Hey Swat!" a voice suddenly shouted, a cheerful brunette woman a tad older than him smiled as she waved from her stall. The man, Swat like it said on his armor, approached the woman and leaned on the stall.

"Sally. Anything good for me?" Sally grinned happily and pulled out a sharp combat knife. Gunner style it looked like.

"Hereeee we go!" she smiled, cheerfully. He took the knife and gingerly brushed it against his fingers, a tiny cut appearing as he nodded. "I thought you'd like it."

"Alright. What do you want for it?" he asked, pulling out his old rusty knife and dropping it on the stall. "And whatever it is include this will you?"

"Hmmm, for you Swat?" she acted coy "60 caps and a kiss from Raid."

Swat rolled his eyes, "Fine…" he said with a smile as Sally leaped over the stall and began hugging the large bear of a dog.

"Whose the best boy ever!" she cooed happily as Raid licked the cheerful woman as she rubbed and hugged him, "You are! Yes, you are! Such a good boy!" Raid moaned with pleasure.

"You're spoiling him." Swat said with a grin, leaving the caps on her stall.

"Shush… some people just need sweet puppy love to survive." She said imperiously. "Need anything else?" she asked walking back around the stall and brushing the caps into a bag behind the stall.

"Been looking for a new rifle…" Swat replied, "Let me know if something good shows up."

"Sure." She said smiling, "Come back anytime…" she waved.

Swat rolled his eyes as Raid's tail wagged happily. He knew she was talking to the dog. "You spoil her." he said firmly to Raid, whose head tilted curiously as they exited the doors to the city. They made their way through the ruins outside the gates, ignoring the odd molerat and other such critters as he entered a ruined building. He lived, for now, thirty minutes outside the city on the second floor of a building next to the one he just entered, the stairs in the building where he slept were long collapsed and the buildings were connected by a deployable bridge that he pulled in when he was 'home'…

…But it wasn't really home. He was only staying for a little while… he had walked from one end of the land to the other. Trying to find a place to really settle… but finding nothing but death and work. This was the second time he came to the Salty City and he wasn't staying for long. He might go to the NCR. Or maybe hunt down the few remaining legionaries wandering the Mojave… But he wasn't staying…

Scratching the ears of Raid he started the fire in the fireplace and tossed the steaks onto the homemade grill as they sizzled… Raid began to drool, staring at the steaks intently as he panted. Swat sat on the old couch, drawing in the bridge first so nothing angry or ghoulish snuck up on them at night. Shutting the door behind him…

…Raid suddenly stopped drooling… and started growling… Swat, trusting his friend as much as his revolver, drew his sequoia and let his eyes wander. But Raid was looking deeper into the house, a closet. Swat snorted, probably a ghoul. Or a molerat… such were the ways of the wasteland. He approached the closet quietly, hand slowly reaching out to the doorknob and…

He yanked the door open and two blue bodies fell out…

Girls… no. Women… one was taller, athletic, her hair was short and so blonde it was almost white. The other had auburn hair and looked… Asian. He thinks the word was. He had never seen one before but there were pictures in old pre-war books that his mother showed him.

"Don't Shoot!" pleaded the blonde, "Please we didn't know this was your spot!" she had an odd accent, not french like his mother but… Russian, he thinks the word was. He scowled and looked them up and down…

They were wearing Vault Suits and pip boys… he'd seen them before. Met a few vault dwellers in his time. He even killed a couple of insane ones from the less than helpful vaults. But two women at once were rare… at least they were cute. "…No harm done I suppose…" he said, they hadn't really bothered him. They must have just gotten out and looked for the safest place they could.

"…Thank goodness…" the blonde sighed in relief and sniffed the air, both women stared hungrily at the cooking meat. Swat snorted and her attention was drawn back to him.

It was then he got a good look at them. The blonde was athletic as he first thought, but her body was curvy and filled out the suit better than most vault women he'd met. And the 'Asian' one was… great wolves how did she even fit those things in the suit?! They were practically bursting the zipper open they were so big… looked soft too…

Then, however they eyed Raid. He liked meeting new people and gave them his best cheerful smile, which made him look like he was showing off his sharp teeth. "You hungry?" Swat asked, sighing as he tossed another slab of brahmin steak onto the fire… he had hoped to save that for breakfast.

"Yes, please." The blonde said and cleared her throat. She smiled kindly at him, "I'm Masha. And this is Satsuki." She said, gesturing to the longer-haired 'Asian' girl, who glared at him suspiciously.

Swat watched her for a moment as she smiled at him prettily and expectantly. He ran his hand under the bold letters on his armor. "Swat." And he gestured to Raid's bandana, "And Raid." Raid at his name yipped loudly in greeting. Satsuki jumped slightly but Masha smiled, and hesitantly pet Raid who cooed at her touch. "I'll feed you tonight, but you better head to the city tomorrow…"

The girls looked at each other for a moment, "…Thank you." Masha said gratefully.

Swat grunted, took his knife and took two of the steaks off and rested them on less than clean plates, handing one to the girls and the other to Raid. "So. What vault are you from? I didn't even know there was one around the Salty City." The girls looked at each other again and he grunted, "…I'm not a rapist or a raider." He drew his gun again and the girls flinched, "But I'm also not dumb…"

"…We ran away…" Satsuki said with a strong accent. "…Our vault is… awful." She said hesitantly, staring at his sequoia.

"…One of the bad ones huh?" Swat replied, holstering his gun again, showing them he'd rather talk than threaten. "…How bad?"

"Hundreds of women from all cultures… a handful of pigs to enslave them." Spat Masha. "When the vault first closed only the prettiest of women were allowed in. It was funded by rich men and were forced to be their slaves for generations."

Swat stared at them for a moment, "…So you got away?" Satsuki and Masha nodded, Swat shrugged, "Huh. I don't see why you all didn't just revolt. There must have been more of the women than the men…" the girls looked at each other again but sighed sadly as he shrugged. "Well… you're free now. Don't know how good of news that is. You might have wanted to stay…"

"No." Satsuki said firmly, determined.

"Yeah you'll be saying that the first time you come across a wild Deathclaw…" Swat replied, dropping onto the couch with his own meal. "…There are some old beds up the hall." He replied as he ate, "You can sleep there."

"Thank you again Mr…. Swat." Masha said, realizing how odd that was as a name.

Swat yawned and devoured his steak as Raid lay close next to him, letting Swat stroke his back. "You're welcome. I'm only charitable once in a blue moon…" he mumbled. The two women walked back into the building as he eyed their rather… curvaceous behinds. "…Keep your nose open." He whispered to Raid. As he rolled up in his ballistic coat and fell asleep…

-

"This is a poor idea…" Masha said softly, as his eyes flicked. "Satsuki he is NOT a man to be toyed with!"

"We need weapons." Satsuki whispered desperately. "Or we will die out here."

"And you think it's a good idea to ROB the only good man we've met since escaping the vault!?" Masha asked desperately as Swat felt his coat open gently.

God damn it Raid.

Click. Satsuki froze as the sequoia pointed into the center of her forehead and she whimpered as Swat opened one eye. Raid was quietly dozing on the floor with a piece of steak in his mouth, apparently, some of their dinners went uneaten.

He stared into her brown eyes as she pleaded silently for life. He sighed sadly, "…You two are not the brightest candles in the wastes are you?…"

"Please." Masha pleaded sincerely. "Please. We're sorry… we don't have ANYTHING… and surely the vault will send people after us. We killed one of the 'nobles'." She spat, "They will not let us go unpunished."

"Nobles?" Swat asked, his face contorting at the unknown word, sitting up but holding his pistol on Satsuki. "What?"

"…They treated us like toys, like objects." Masha said sadly, "The men do what they wish with the women. If they wanted to they could KILL US and go about unpunished. Satsuki and I were chosen to entertain one of the sons; he wanted to do… horrible things to us… we did it to him instead."

Swat sighed… "…So how far is this vault from here?" Swat asked.

"Two days at least. We traveled far to get away from there, we were hoping to go west to the coast." Masha replied. Swat tapped the sequoia barrel on Satsuki's forehead, she flinched nervously in terror at the cold feeling of the barrel.

"…I don't work for free." He said suddenly, they blinked at him in surprise. "You're going to have to work hard if I'm going to protect you."

"W-what?" Masha asked confused.

"Even if by some miracle you managed to take my weapons. You'll still die. There's a lot of shit between here and the NCR." He holstered his pistol and jerked his head towards the back rooms again, "We'll work out something on the way. I was planning to leave here anyway and head to the Mojave."

"Thank you Swat!" Masha said gratefully as Satsuki breathed a sigh of relief. "I am so sorry!"

Swat snorted but he glared at the two beautiful women, "…I don't give second chances." He said firmly, and the women shivered slightly, "You try that shit again." He stared at Satsuki who gulped, "…I'll let you figure it out."

The women, holding each other walked into the back rooms and he watched him for a moment. not their rears this time, but their vault numbers. He was going to have to keep a lookout for anyone else in those suits after all.

He burned Vault 69 into his mind and went to sleep. Slapping Raid on the head in punishment first…

End of Chapter

Now. Getting it all out of the way with a little backstory, Swat's mother was a cop pre-ghoul, originally from France and a former member of R.A.I.D. (their version of swat apparently) and she adopted 'Swat' at a very young age. He found Raid at 16. He's now 20 and Raid is 4, (as well as long-lived thanks to years of nuclear mutation. Because shut up) and about the size of a great dane with the strength of an angry Lion.

And when sexy times finally happen, all sexytime girls will be assigned a pornstar for reference. Just because.

So naturally.

Masha = Mila Milan (I know she's Austrian)

Satsuki = Hitomi Tanaka (because shut up.)

.

garçon=boy in french according to Google translate... so I'm just going to go with that.

Took me awhile to figure out what I should post next. And this old Plot with Porn Fallout Story came to mind. So that's what I'm doing.
