"H-how do we get out of here?" Fu Jie anxiously asked.

Xiao Jingyi sighed as he pointed at the crack on the cave wall and replied, "It's the only way."

Fu Jie had a bad feeling in his stomach as he heard this. He pointed at the mayor as he questioned, "What about him?"

"He's already dead so we have no use of him even if we take him along," Xiao Jingyi simply answered without any emotions evident in his voice.

"So you're just going to leave him being like this?" Fu Jie was a bit shocked as he questioned.

Xiao Jingyi nodded his head as he confirmed, "That's right. Why? Do you want to carry him along?"

Fu Jie gulped as he immediately shook his head and responded, "Definitely not!"

Xiao Jingyi put the Shandian and the sword away with a swing of his sleeve before taking a few steps forward towards the crack that was starting to become bigger ever so slowly.

Cherry: I have fallen into a river several times but I have never drowned myself. I was always extremely lucky somehow XD

But I did manage to almost drown myself to death in my own bathroom *facepalm-laugh*

I was trying to test how long I can hold my breath underwater and stupidly forgot how to lift my head from the water.

So for the first time, I actually feel bad for Fu Jie.
