"Is this the spot?" I asked, looking around for any suspicious people.
Flaria nodded from atop my shoulder. "Yep, this should be where that person was heading to when I got off."
"..."
"What's the matter, Master?" Mei Gui asked, seeing my reluctant attitude.
"W-Well...I mean, this is still a female bathroom, even if it's an emergency. If someone saw me going in there with you, they'll automatically label me a pervert with no chance of parole," I explained. "That's why..."
"Understood, Master," Mei Gui said before I could finish my sentence. "I shall investigate first."
"Many thanks..." I muttered, feeling slightly guilty for some reason.
Mei Gui turned around, and headed inside.

In this chapter, we brought back the stupid bitch fiancee known as Lan Gui Ying. Don't confuse her with Lan Xiao Su, who is absolutely waifu, by the way. Yes, they do have some connection, having the same last name and all, but I'll save that for the next few chapters.
More and more things just keep coming, preventing Xuan Kai from sneaking out the safe zone and looking for the girls. The phone call has yet to be made as well, since all the interruptions.
Moreover, this is still phase 1 of the Midnight Syndicate's plan. Phase 2 is sure to be even stronger, and far more large-scale, perhaps even affecting other nearby cities. How will the human territory inhabitants fight back against this dark and sinister force?
