Chương 110: One Missing Baby

"In the end, you didn't let them stay," Matthew sat across Ava. He stared at her beautiful face that was devoid of any expression. He couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking.

"You think I did the wrong thing?"

"No." Matthew shook his head. "I think… everything that you think or do is right."

She chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Sweet talker."

"I don't know what you are talking about." He chuckled. Despite the blank expression on her face, he could feel the confusion coming from her. She was still hesitant. Probably because of what Baba told her.

Just like how Baba talked to Ava, she also talked to Matthew and told her about what she told Ava. Something was weird with her brother and if they stayed here, Baba would have had the time to find out what it was.

He expected Ava to give in, to allow her brother to stay.

But she did something unexpected, again.

However, Matthew also understood the reason why she did this.
