"Don't worry. Everything will be alright," I heard Alexander speak as he placed his hand on top of mine, and I looked at him, waiting for his explanation, and he sighed.
"It's written all over your face. Something is bugging you, and you are quite worried about it, right?" Alexander said, and I hummed before smiling.
"It's nothing," I said before stepping down from the car once it stopped in front of the hotel I was living in.
"Are you worried about that prisoner? The prisoner because of whom you almost risked your life today? The one you were looking at as if she was someone important to you?" He asked, and I looked at him before sighing.
He was too observant for his own good.
"Have a safe journey back," I said, not bothering to answer him as I nodded and turned around, my mind fixated on Lady Cera and her tortured body.
