Chương 35: A Way To Strengthen Blood Manipulation

[Blood Manipulation]

Both Fighters lunged forward at incredible speed.Each other giving off a competitive aura.But the humanoid Lion beast was prideful hence it stood it's ground unfazed by their outburst to fight,it's eyes blazing With ferocity as it swiped it's claw towards them.

Sen had a twisted expression,unable to understand why it swiped it's claws at them even though there was a bit of distance between them,however it instantly recalled something and stopped dead in his tracks leaping into the air.

Arthur knew about it's flaming claw hence he also did what he could to evade it's touch.After all it was because of his flame that he now had a crimson blood arm.

[Blood Manipulation activated]

"Blood Barrier"

Although he moved back,the aftermath of his particular encounter with the flames still itched a certain scar inside him, honestly speaking he wasn't thrilled he had lost his arm.

If not for his abnormally high bravery stat,who in their right mind could muster the courage to slice of their arm.Blood Manipulation had evolved so much to the extent Arthur could form a certain sort of barrier using blood.

With a swift hand movement, Arthur's crimson blood arm leaked a wave of blood,forming it into a barrier,its surface rippling like liquid.

This was how much Arthur's limit of blood barrier could hold.For some reason he couldn't condense it to harden.

"You call me weak but don't know the blood that flows within me!".

Sen's voice boomed,his figure slightly floating amid the air.He spun his glorious dragon like spear only stopping when his spearhead was facing the sky.

"Fear my dragon's wrath".

He swung his spear vertically downwards,and astral image of a dragon's head,it's snout wide opened as if it's deviod of joy enveloping around his spear.

The gleaming spear accompanied by the astral dragon head blazed through the flames that were on its path to engulf Sen,quenching them along it's descent.

"PATHETIC HUMAN HAHA!!".

Flames enveloped it's large hands and with a mighty roar lunged it's fist towards the dragon spear.The flames seemed to pulse in rhythm with it's heartbeat,growing bigger and more intense as the moment of impact drew near.

It's mighty roar defeaning as a thunderclap as it's flame engulfed fist struck against the astral dragon spear.A flash of light instantly blasted across the area as both attacks collided.

The shockwave's power pushing the beast as well as Arthur.Arthur inside his blood barrier sensed the sudden charge of attacks clashing together and before he knew it,his blood barrir had been pushed back although still intact.

However his calm yet worried look took a sudden a change,the corner of his lips slightly curved upwards at what he was seeing Infront of his sight.

[Blood Barrier has absorbed the impact]

"Absorbing impacts strengthens my blood manipulation... exhilarating".

[There's a downside mcdumbstein]

"Fuck you".

Right now Arthur had even lost count of the many times he's cussed at the system.The system was truly annoying sometimes.

[Receiving an impact you can't handle breaks the blood barrier]

"I see...noted".

Flexing his crimson blood arm which seemed flawless,Arthur instantly felt the strength his blood manipulation had achieved from simply just absorbimg the impact of the shockwave.

"what if I can make the blood barrier form a thin layer around me, with that every hit I can withstand becomes my strength".

[Woah...what did you do to my dumb Arthur,bring him back]

"Tch..damn you"

[I don't want to be an idea buster but uhm...that's a rank 6 beasts there's little your blood barrier can withstand]

"Took that into account as well...I will avoid the more direct ones and absorb the weak hit".

The system said nothing afterwards.It somehow felt assured by the response it got hence it didn't want to trouble Arthur anymore.

Arthur stood in the middle of his blood barrier,his eyes close as his dark blonde hair danced about in the air due to the aura his body was drawing him.

Not much of an aura but the energy it's blood barrier contained.The blood barrier began slightly shrinking.Almost as if it's about to swallow Arthur.

After a few more seconds the blood barrier had reduced to a significant amount,forming a thin layer of barrier around his body which seemed to leak out a powerful more condensed aura.

Arthu smiled in satisfaction.He had been able to put his idea which he thought he couldn't to play and he felt thrilled about it.

Sen landed beside Arthur staring at the thin aura surrounding his body in awe."Lets go".

Once again the duo dashed into action,their eyes gleaming with excitement and worry,the most exciting thing however is they didn't fear their opponent.

Above the edge of the inner beast forest floating in the sky with her arms folded under her large perfectly sized melons was Miss Jade.A pleasant yet anxious look plastered on his face.

Miss Jade had arrived at the battle scene between the rank 6 beast and Arthur who's helping hand wasn't any inferior to him.

Miss Jade had been patiently waiting for Arthur.knowing the full extent of his strength he knew he wouldn't be easy to defeat but one thing Miss Jade failed to realize was Arthur was in the origin rank.

Left alone to come on his own through a path which originates from the outer beast forest inhabited by beasts of higher level than he.Due to this she decided to come find him and bring him back.

When she arrived she was surprised to see Arthur facing off against a rank 6 beast one equivalent to the tyrant rank.Although he seemed to be in the loosing side he still managed to stand his ground against the beast.

Following his performance along with the strange dragon boy Miss Jade decided to stay and would only intervene when he's at deaths door.

Both Arthur and Sen leaped back.Their bodies drenched in sweat and blood, bruised and injured bodies but their hearts still unwavering,not willing to die at the hands of the lion humanoid beast.

Their chest heaving up and down unconditionally due to their exhaustion.This fight was one they would never forget.That is if they survived after all.
