“There’s a second gate?” Lewis looked bewildered.
“Lewis,” Theresa rolled her eyes. “Remember… they said they had to close the gates that Ans… Ansgar guy opened.”
Lewis nodded in remembrance.
“We have to knock him down a step or two… make things fair,” Sam chirp.
Miles grinned. Asher gazed outside and sighed dramatically.
“Let’s go, fire queen,” Asher said, looking at Edith. “Warm up those hands; we are going to need them.”
“Fire queen,” Lydia shook her head and looked at Wolfe who stood nearby. “It’s more like. Queen of Majestic Light, or something like that.”
Asher stopped, looked thoughtful, and gave a nod. Miles began ushering everyone through the door and into the garden.
Caden looked worried as everyone piled outside.
“Ansgar is fighting the army over there, but he’s headed this way, and quickly,” Caden stood in the middle of the garden. “We can’t allow him to come here, to find this house.”
