Chương 29: Greediest Goblin Ver II

Ver is hesitating to push for an attack, and it doesn't look like he's going to push me. He has 510 health left and doesn't have anything to heal him during combat. I use Dark Vines and try to lock him up and deal damage. He breaks through them with sheer strength. It's impressive, but I was able to do 100 damage in the process.
The defense rating must've tripled from the intimidation he's suffering from. I can assume his attack has suffered by a multiple of three as well. "DAMN MONSTER!!!" He charges forward, and I leap to the side, barely missing one of his longswords. He's large than the other goblins in this dungeon, and I can use that to my advantage.
He's got 410 health left, which means a few more attacks are needed to take him down. He doesn't give me any time to find my footing and charges at me. I leap backward, and he's above me. I point my right index finger at his head, and I use another Dark Burst. Hitting him for another 150 damage. He resisted a critical. He's much stronger than he should be.
His body is launched into the ceiling, and it breaks to pieces upon contact. He falls to the ground, and heavy rubble covers him on the way down. I create some distance, and he slowly gets out of the pile of rocks. He's covered in blood, and his face is severely damaged. The wounds on his face have a black aura coming out of them, likely from the Dark Burst.
This battle is coming to a close soon. He's only got 260 health left. "How can something like you even exist!? It doesn't make sense!!" He finally gets free of the rumble and stands up. I use Dread wave, and Darkness leaps out from the black aura around me. Speeding towards Ver, he rolls out of the way and barely misses the attack. I use Black Spear as he regains his footing.
The two that I send are direct hits, and he's sent flying into the wall, crushing it upon impact. That attack did 120 damage, and that leaves him with 140 health. I can hear his deep and labored breaths from here. Even with the adjustment to the difficulty from the system, this fight was easy. I slowly walk up to him and see his state.

I step on his chest, and he lets a grunt out. I point my right index finger at his head and slowly charge Dark Burst. The Jet Blackball is getting bigger and bigger as black energy is swirling around it. A cool feature, able to control the charge time with the skills of this class. There is black energy seeping from his wounds, slowly eating away at him.
A hidden effect, it seems... Necrotic power that deals low amounts of damage over time. "There is nothing but Darkness for you." I can't help adding a little flair to this final moment. I unleash the power, and the Dark Burst laser takes away everything above the placement of my foot on his chest. His detached arms fall and roll off the rocks.
A bunch of things burst from his body, and among them is a Purple item. Meaning Epic, but I let the EXP sink in first. I have 50 EXP towards my player level. Leveling up my player level. I get 60 EXP towards Dark Burst, leveling it up too. To my surprise, Dark Burst mana demand doesn't increase with its level up. That's awesome.
I got 15 EXP for Dark Vines and 15 EXP for Black Spear. The really good part is the amount of gold Ver dropped. An even 250 gold, and makes my total gold amount 401. Dark Vine's is now level 3 and has had a jump in damage and a jump in mana demand. I look towards the drops, and the only thing worth noting is the Epic Grade drop. I pick it up and read its information.

I immediately consume the amazing drop, and I feel a change in my hands. I open my player interface and see the new skills I've got. Both my Blacksmithing and Armoring are at an amazing start, and this is something that'll save me so much time. I never knew this had a chance of dropping here the first clear.
Either someone kept it a secret, or it's something the system gave me. Now time to officially clear the dungeon. I walk over to the obelisk that clears the dungeon and touches it. I'm transported out of the dungeon and back to the courtyard at the entrance to it. I get a system message for multiple things. I open them and start reading. The first is the quest rewards.
I get a Permanent key to this dungeon and 30 EXP towards my player level and all my skills. I read the message separate from the quest, and it says I'm the first person to clear Greedy Goblins and do it solo. The information is added to my Lore Tab.

[First Mythical Class Wielder]
You're the first Mythical Class wielder in Libertas. 10% EXP gains for Player and Skill levels.
[Nor Good, Nor Evil]
The Darkness is considered neutral but is of the greatest power. All organizations of Good, Neutral, and Evil will not disrespect you openly.
[Mental Immunity]
Your mind is impenetrable to mental attacks and readings. All people who try to gaze into your mind will have to fight the Darkness to keep their sanity.
[Dark Vision]
You can see perfectly in total and complete darkness.

Lyatt Scott is the only person in all of Libertas to have a Mythical Grade Class. The Darkness Incarnate is a class of extreme power and potential, the strongest there is. As an Incarnate, Lyatt Scott is essentially the Darkness given form. He isn't evil, but he's not good either. The Darkness is the Darkness. It just is.
Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear an Uncommon Grade dungeon solo.
Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear Greedy Goblins Dungeon and do it solo.
