Izuku's face went cold as he looked at Momo.
"Do you not trust my decisions?" His voice was low and deep, something that turned the room silent. Momo began to sweat.
"O-of course not s-sir! I-I would never, i-it's just-" Izuku raised his brow and Momo fell silent once more.
"I have that soba you want-" Inko walked in and stopped her words as she saw the sight. All these people silent, afraid to say anything. Inko sat the bowl in front of Todoroki and he slightly bowed as a thank you.
"Honey, you can't keep intimidating your new found friends." Everyone flinched as she said "friends". Shoto started to eat his noodles as everyone else's faces turned from scared, to heartfelt. On the other hand Izuku's face slowly turned red from embarrassment.
"I-I don't have any f-friends mother." He barely whispered as Inko's face grew a large smile.
"Oh don't believe him, he told me your the best people he's ever meet!" Inko gushed as Izuku secretly thought of killing her.
"Oh boss!" Toga jumped up, ran to deku and squeezed him tight. "You're the best too!"
Smiles returned to everyones faces as Deku fought to get out of Toga's arms. Shoto couldn't help but smile at the events of that night. Everyone having so much fun with one and other, giggling and happy faces filled the house. It was honestly the best dinner Shoto ever had. Everyone had say down for a movie when Shoto's phone went off.
"Better answer that before I hit play on the movie." Toga chirped. Inko had gotten a horror movie for them earlier, but who can watch that when someone's phone is vibrating? Todoroki picked up the phone, his face turning sour when he saw who was calling.
"Yes father?" The room fell silent as they heard screaming on the other line.
"I'm at a friends. I don't want to. You cant make me!" Shoto's hands shook as he held the phone, tears threatening his eyes. Everyone around him staired, worried about the situation. Suddenly Shoto hung up the phone and stuffed it back in his pocket.
"Todoroki-cun?" Deku looked the most concerned out of anyone as a few tears fell Shoto's cheeks.
"I'm sorry..My father came to my dorm to make me train and he got mad when I wasn't there..I hate him.." Todoroki brought his legs to his chest and held himself. Suddenly Shoto was being hugged by everyone, even Momo.
"It's gonna be ok Todoroki-cun." Uraraka said.
"Yea! you don't have to listen to that meanie." Toga nuzzled his cheek.
"Your safe with us, we promise." Momo said. Asui ribbited in agreement. Midoriya looked almost jealous as everyone hugged and comforted Shoto.
At the Dorms
Shoto was met with a mad looking Iida.
"Where have you been? You barely made the curfew!" Shoto's eyes slightly widened as he remembers.
"I was at bosses house." Iida's body relaxed.
"Oh, ok. Try not to talk to loud, cameras and everything." Iida started to head in, shoto walked after him.
"So, can I meet the others? How many are there?" Iida smiled.
"You've met most of us already. A few students, and even a teacher has joined. But you wont meet all of them yet. Personally I trust you but others, not so much. Since your part of the Todoroki family" The todoroki in question looked away, his fist clenching.
"I hate my father, he's terrible. Please don't think I'm like him." Iida could feel the hate from shoto. The two continued to walk in silence.
That night, shoto tossed and turned in his bed. Yet again Midoriya circled his mind. What was weirder is when todoroki fell asleep. His dream was blurry for a moment the second he woke up, all he could remember was a bed, creaking sounds, and his hand holding onto somthing that was green with a strong grip.
As Shoto got dressed he thought about what he should do. Should he join Midoriya's group? He thought he wanted to be a hero. Shoto conflicted with his thoughts the whole day, him being so distracted made him bump into someone.
"hey bro, you ok?" A voice came. It sounded like the spiky haired kid, was it kirishima? yea, that's his name.
"I'm sorry kirishi-" Shoto looked to see a smile of sharp teeth. That night after Midoriya first asked Shoto to joined flashed in his mind.
"Y-your with them." Shoto whispered, he didn't know if he should be afraid or not. Kirishima's smile grew larger.
"Well now, guess you found me out little hero." He winked. "Don't worry, boss has made it clear to not hurt you out of our free will. Besides, I don't want to hurt you." Shoto could feel himself relaxing at Kirishima's words.
"If you don't mind, I gotta get going to Denki's. He needs help with his homework." Kirishima chuckled as he walked past.
'Is Denki in on it too? Or am I reading to much into this?' Shoto walked to the kitchen where Momo, Jiro, and Sero stood.
"Good evening Todoroki." Momo smiled. Todoroki couldn't help but feel uneasy. He knew Momo didn't trust him.
"Hello everyone." Shoto felt uneasy. Who knows how many people here could be working with Midoriya? How was Midoriya able to get so many people to join up with him? If you get into U.A, you really want to be a hero. Maybe even worked your whole life to get here. So how could so many people wish to be villains after working so hard to be heroes?
"Shoto, your phones going off." Sero said, bringing Shoto back to reality. He nodded his head thank you and picked up his phone.
'Oh, it's just him' Shoto looked at the caller ID reading "Dad".
"Not picking up?" Jiro asked as Shoto put his phone away.
"Nope, probably a wrong number."
