Chương 154: Dinner party

I was lying on my bed after school on Friday still thinking about what gift to get Ray when my phone started ringing. I was a bit surprised when I saw it was an unknown number.

I picked up the call unable to guess who was calling.

"Hello," I said after I picked up the call.

"Hey Bella," I picked Mrs. William's voice. Why on earth was she calling me. I felt nervous. I could not guess why she was calling so I took a deep breath and waited for it.

"How are you doing?" She asked.

"I am fine ma?" I replied. Why was I feeling so anxious? Ray's Mum has always been nice to me.

"We are having a dinner, party tomorrow and I was wondering if you could come. That is if you don't have other plans," she said.

I took a deep breath. Well, I did not have any other plans apart from shopping with Ella tomorrow but it was still strange that she invited me.
