"Calm down, Iris. She wants you to lose control so she can take over. Renata will take you through everything you need to know, okay?" 

Tyler assured her. When he noticed she was still fuming, he added, "I also have a few ancient books you could use to harness her powers as you mentioned. Meanwhile, you wouldn't need to awaken her to do that." 

With the promise of harnessing Minerva's powers without necessarily waking her up, Iris felt a lot calmer, and was willing to accept Tyler's arrangements. She always trusted him with such things because he was more experienced with these supernatural things and also had an encounter with Minerva many centuries ago. No one could know how to get rid of the witch better than Tyler, or so she thought.

"Fine. When do we start, Renata?" Iris asked the young lady who stood to the corner, watching them cuddle as if she wasn't even there.
