It was a memorable New Year's Eve for Wendy. Although the gift was only a box of tens of dollars of fireworks, it was very precious. At least someone cared about her.

But it was not a beautiful day for Gussie. She was beaten hard every day and even had a fever.

After taking ibuprofen, she fell into a deep sleep under the covers. In the middle of the night, she broke out in a sweat and shivered from the cold.

"I'm so cold!" Gussie said shiveringly and touched Nathan.

"Are you that cold? Not a big problem. You've already sweated and will be fine tomorrow..." said Nathan, "Take off your clothes so as not to get cold again."

Gussie hesitated and said, "Now?"

Nathan said, "Of course."

Gussie thought he hadn't crossed the line for the past few days when they were on the same bed. So she took off her clothes under the quilt and carefully stretched out an arm to put it on the bedside.
