Taking in Kathleen's professional appearance, she asked, "Are you the secretary to one of the new executives?"

A line appeared between Kathleen's brow.

"Something like that, and I'm almost running late for the meeting. If you don't mind, we will meet over a cup of coffee to talk more some other time," Kathleen said and went straight for the elevator.

"Sure," Betsy replied with an intriguing look.

The more she stared at Kathleen's disappearing back, the more she felt she was no longer on the same level with the rest of them.

She even looked more refined and way out of her reach, just like those big shots in the magazines.

She seemed to recall the brand name of the handbag Kathleen carried just now. She was a bag freak herself and could tell that the bag alone could pay her one year salary, not to talk of the rest of her attire.

"Kathleen has made it," was the only conclusion she could arrive at.
