Nahor ignored that thought and said to himself,"I don't have time for love. Maybe it's just an illusion.
So he stopped thinking about it.
Two months later, everything had gone better in the palace.
Jordan and Neya had become the best of friends and related to each other freely.
They often talked to each other every day. Why wouldn't they. Jordan had been the first person whom she had met. They had always been talking business or something about the deal but the more time they talked and spent with each other the better they got to know each other. They related to each other so freely that their friendship began being similar to a brother and sister relationship. Since Jordan considered Nahor as his brother. Then he had to consider Neya as his sister. Didn't he. Who would have known that their business relationship would have turned out to be a strong bond. The two friends trusted each other.
Neya had tried to improve on her and Nahor's relationship but most of her attempts were a complete failure.
Nahor had a little bit distant from Neya but despite that Neya would not easily give up. She had been trying to find a solution to this.
But Nahor had slightly changed within the last two months. Well it was not that small kind of change but it had been slightly improved.
It was time for breakfast but Nahor could not go downstairs because he was so busy with his work. So he had ordered his breakfast to be served in his room.
Neya had wondered what kind of work he did. She did not really see the people that he ruled. All she ever saw was the palace and the people in it who deeply feared Nahor. She never really kind of understood what kind of prince he was. Or what kind of person he was . She did not really want to think much about it because she remembered she was supposed to play her role with out question. She would only ask about it once her job was complete.
Neya could not just go to Nahor and directly ask him what kind of work he did. She knew what his answer would be,"It is none of your business" . She hated it when he said that. She knew that how many times she asked him he would not tell her. So she did not bother to think about it that much. But she still knew it would not be long till she found out. She was very sure of that.
Amplon brought some cut apple alongside the breakfast.
Nahor was still in the shower so he put on the table.
He carried the knife that he used to cut the apples and tray with him.
But as he was going, he saw that a lot of wind was blowing in from the open windows just right across the room.
Amplon thought that the strong wind would distort the properly arranged things in the room.
He then went across the room to close them.
He put the tray and knife on the bed and went to close them.
After he had finished, he suddenly heard Jordan repeatedly calling for him downstairs.
So in a bit of haste he picked up the tray and forgot the knife on the bed.
Immediately after Amplon had left Nahor came out of the bathroom. He quickly dressed up and proceeded with his work.
The wind had blown so hard that it over turned the blanket covering the knife.
Nahor was looking for his pen but he couldn't seem to find it. He tried looking on the bed but as he put his hand under the blanket. He felt a pain. He removed his hand and then turned the blanket with his other hand. He saw the knife that was lying on the bed. He wondered where the knife had come from.
The knife had severely cut him leaving a very serious wound on his hand.
Blood was gashing out of his hand.
He stood there for a moment trying to stop the bleeding.
Neya was feeling a little bit anxious downstairs. She quickly finished her breakfast and then proceeded to goupstairs. She then headed to to her room.
We she opened the bedroom door she was shocked to see what was right infront of her eyes.
She saw blood continuously flowing out of Nahor's hand. She was shocked to see this unexpected scene. It was really unexpected to her. She had never thought that such a strong person would ever be standing there helplessly. She had expected him to have handled the situation even before she had come in but this time he looked so confused. She knew she had to help him.
What was she going to do. She asked herself. She stood frozen at the entrance for a while. This was really surprising to her. There was a lot of blood flowing out of his hand. She knew that if he lost a lot of blood the situation would go worse. She had to react very fast. Failure to do so would make the situation worse.
