Chương 18: JORDAN
One week after the wedding, Neya and Nahor had not even so much as talked to each other. They had tried avoiding contact.
Nahor had even put up rules for Neya to follow.
1 Do not touch my things.
2 Do not come near me nor my property.
3 Do nott speak to me unless you are told.
Nahor even chose her clothes that she was supposed and not supposed to wear.
One day she was fed up of all the rules and she unintentionally broke one.
She was going through the book shelf and she found a photo frame.
It was Nahor in the picture and some man.
She was still studying the picture when Nahor suddenly came out of nowhere. She had not yet realized till Nahor asked,"You know the rules and the consequences of breaking them."
Her heart was pumping so fast.She knew she was dead meat.
But this time she stopped being the soft kind Neya.She decided to speak up for herself but she didn't know she was making a mistake.
That's where Neya stopped with her flash back.Now she only remembered what Nahor had said that morning. That she meant nothing to him.
She felt so hurt by those words
She felt so lonely at that time.She didn't have any one whom she could run to there.
Then she remembered Jordan's words"If you ever need anything I am always available."
She had hope that Jordan would help her. So she headed towards Jordan's room
