Neya marched towards the altar boldy. She was looking everyone in the eye.
She did not dare to show her fear. Her eyes were tightly fixed on Nahor and his eyes were fixed on her.
As she kept on moving closer, they continued studying each other trying to see each other's reaction.
She finally stopped. She had reached the Nahor was standing there observing her.
Her heart was pumping so fast but she did not dare to show any expression on her face.
She remained calm.
Then Nahor brought his hand forward and with alot of hesitation.Neya placed her hand on his hand.
Then they stood facing each other. Gyon told Nahor to take off the veil off of Neya.
Nahor had patiently waited to take it off.If Gyon had not said that right then.
He would have taken it off then.
Nahor slowly lifted the veil. This was the moment everyone had been waiting for.
Now finally they could see her.
Everyone marvelled at her beauty as they looked at her.
But Nahor looked right into her eyes and Neya looked right into his eyes.
Neya was a tall slender woman. She had pale blue twinkling eyes. When you looked into them. It would be as if you were lost in the ocean.
She had light brown silky long hair that was now bound together.
Neya continued observing Nahor. He had a well built body. He was very handsome.
He had short dark brown hair. But he had dark smoldering eyes. When you looked into them it would be as if you are in hell itself.
They were so lost in each other's eyes that they did not realize that Gyon had finished saying the marriage vows.
He then asked,"Do you Nahor take Neya as your wife and do you Neya take Nahor as your husband?"
There was silence for a moment but all of them said at once,"I do."
Everyone clapped and shouted in joy but the couple continued looking into each other's eyes.
Nahor and Neya had been eagerly waiting to see each other. This had been there moment. A very special moment for the two of them. A moment that would always remain in their memories. The first time they met each other.
"I do,"those two words. Neya did not know how she had got those two words out of her mouth. She had been very nervous. She really used alot of courage to bring out those two words out of her mouth.
She had thought that her future husband would be very scary from the description that was given to her. by Jordan but it did not turn out to be like that. She had been carefully observing the man who was going to be her husband very soon and she had noticed that her future husband was also carefully observing her. It was as if he was waiting to see any eaction from her. But Neya had promised herself even before she got out of her room that she would only put on a bold face. She did not want to show her fear.
As she had marched down the stairs she had noticed the guests who had kept on looking at her. To her surprise they were not many in number as she had expected. They were around fifty people in number. She had been wondering what kind of palace in t had been but she ignored that and kept on focusing on the main issue. Her wedding.
Neya also noticed that everyone kept on looking at her from the time that she stepped out of the room to the time that she reached her groom. She thought it through and thought that maybe it was because they had not seen her from the time that she arrived at the palace.
As she matched towards the wedding altar she had been looking around. She only faced where the groom was. She did not dare turn her head but she clearly knew that everyone was looking at her because she felt it.
The only people n whom she had recognized in the room was Jordan and Sami. At first she did not recognize Sami but when she had looked closer she realized that it was the second man who had kidnapped her.
He was sitting in the front seat.
She could also recognize Jordan. Why wouldn't she. She was the only person whom she knew because she talked to him most of the time. She saw that he was standing next to her future husband. So it was clear to her that he was her future husband's best man.
All of them were dressed in the same attire and she had to admit it they were both handsome. She then noticed that Jordan was a little bit younger than Nahor. She had not been able to see Nahor's face clearly. The only person whom she was eager to see was her future husband. Anything else would follow. She had been carefully trying to see his face since he reached the middle of the hall but it seemed if she wanted to see him clearly she had to come nearer to him.
She then realized that she was already at the altar. There her curiosity faded but her anxiety continued arising. She then did not want to spoil everything by looking nervous and that is why she still put on the calm face. Before she realized it she had given her hand to Nahor and they were holding each other's hand. And then she realized that her veil had been removed and her face was clearly seen. She then realized that she was looking into Nahor's eyes. At first she felt frightened but after some time she was lost in his eyes.
Then she did not even hear the marriage vows that were being said by Gyon the priest . The only thing she heard was"Do you accept this marriage," And with a lot of hesitation she said,"I Do,"and it was all done.
