"Calm down and listen to me," Leslie urged her to settle down. "Even though I'm Alan's fiancée, I'm still just his fiancée. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to step in and prove anything; no one would believe me. Besides, I'm not the right person for this. You can have Blanchine clarify things herself."
"I don't want to talk to that woman!" Isabella said with disgust at the mention of Blanchine.
"Don't you want to clear this matter up?" Leslie asked. "Alan doesn't want his child to be falsely accused either. He thinks like you and wants Blanchine to come forward and clarify things. But you'll need to pay her to tell everyone that she and Felix have nothing going on; that's the only way to resolve your issue."
Isabella understood what Leslie was saying, but paying that woman… she was afraid it would dirty her hands.
"Don't worry, I'll pass it on to her for you," Leslie assured her.
