Ellen was unusually easygoing and didn't refuse, allowing Blanch to push him out, leaving her alone.
Blanch climbed onto her email while searching. The few pages she had taken were just a part of the whole; if she wanted to help, she needed to find everything.
Blanch rummaged around, realizing that Matthew had taken a copy outside. There had to be a master copy of the documents here. If she could send the master copy to Felix before Matthew, he would know about this matter and could save the situation.
Ellen had a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder and liked to leave things scattered, which actually saved Blanch some time. She found all the documents and, without bothering to check what was on the back, quickly took pictures and sent them to Felix, then put everything back in place, pretending she hadn't touched anything.
Just then, Ellen walked in. "Take a break; you don't want to strain your eyes," he said.
