Blanche felt as if she had heard the biggest joke. Caring for a child was an innate ability of a mother; how could he say such a thing?!
Blanche wanted to voice her opposition, but Allen continued, "Don't forget, this is my territory. If you make me unhappy, I will immediately take Jason away and you won't be able to find us. You know I have that ability."
