Author's Note:
•The main character is certainly not a moral person, but he isn't a total Machiavellian archetype either. The term 'total' is important here because our MC is very a selfish individual with no qualms for evil. He has plenty of emotions, there just placed in another direction.
•As mentioned in the tags, there will be no harem. As for whether the MC will have a love interest, no, as it will conflict with the personality I have in mind for him.
•The narration in the book can be a bit preachy, especially in the beginning. I'm sorry about that.
•Chapter updates: No idea how often I'll release. Could be once a week, a day, or even a month. I've written three books before this one, and I've dropped all of them. I won't promise this time will be any different. If you're willing to take the risk and read, great. If not, that's perfectly fine too.

The mc (Wei Wushang) is pretty interesting, his character grows from a naive, bullied and neglected child to a youth who found a new reason for his life after the death of his parents, this new reason or path leads him towards the world of cultivators. Due to the fact there's only 14 chapters there isn't many side characters introduced and those who appeared didn't get the focus due to the mc but from I saw I believe this will change we just need to wait for more chapters. For now it's only been 14 chapters so I can't really comment on the updating stability or story development yet (The author is known for starting good stories and then dropping them, so be cautious when starting). The world building is still not explored fully, we still didn't even reach the sect so, but from what I saw it's basically the usual cultivation world (it has sect selection event in villages, dangers lurking around everywhere etc...). Now for the power system, it's mainly the cultivation of spiritual essence (Qi) to use it in techniques like wind blades or to use it to power you martial spirit (It's basically unique abilities in each cultivator like defensive and offensive abilities, thoughts acceleration, etc...), it's nothing new but it's done fairly well I hope the author doesn't mess it up in the future. In conclusion I hope the author doesn't drop this work too because I really see potential in it for greatness.
Over all a very good novel with a very interesting me to say the least. This author has a very good track record of making great novels with evil mc and I always love to read them, but only down side is that he stops halfway through them. Story and world building are coming along nicely and the characters seem very real. The actions and fights are really good and you can also feel the emotions of the characters in these scenes. Great read and hope to see more work from this author!
I loved your book Tainted Will. This one will surely be a masterpiece.
