I wanted nothing more than to bury Michael alive. How dare he even think of saying that before Amara? Teasing me was one thing, but teasing her was completely another. There was no way that I was going to allow the latter even when he had the permission for the first one.
I saw the lucky fool sneaking away just like he had sneaked in to peek at us. There was a reason why I was calling him lucky. If it wasn't for the fact that my hands were busy holding on to Amara, I would have used both of them on him.
It would have at least taught him a good lesson, and he wouldn't have repeated the same mistake, ever again. Fortunately for him, I wasn't willing to let go of the lady in my arms.
"Should we leave before the nurse arrives?" I asked her as I gave her back a couple of rubs. It was my attempt at trying to make her feel better, even if it was the slightest bit. She must be feeling awkward after listening to Michael's not so decent remark.
Things are about to go from all lovey to all dark (plus drama) as a bunch of things will be revealed in the upcoming chapters before the night of the blood moon reaches us.
