Zayn's voice sounded so angry that Ariana wondered why he was like that. He can just brush aside the question or something and not react to that. But somehow this makes Ariana feel a little touched.

'Well, he did agree to be my shield anyway.' She convinced herself like this. What else could be between them anyway? 

Still with his serious face, Aiden the crown prince was not at all impressed by the tone of the Duke. He just wears his bored face while looking at the couple before deciding his move next. As usual, Aiden is always the calculative one in whatever he is doing.

"I'll apologize for what happened here, Duke Zayn. Things getting out of hand suddenly."

"You sure that I am the person for you to say that?" Zayn was not satisfied as he was not the person who needed the 'apologize' word.

Aiden then turned his gaze to Ariana who also looked at him.
