Jules' place was a hive of activity. Stylists and assistants buzzed around like bees, each person focused on their own task. I couldn't help but my jaw dropped.
I hope I won't be wearing everything here though. I mean…
"Ember! Over here!" Jules called, waving me over to where she was standing next to a stunning outfit.
I walked over, trying to avoid stepping on any stray pieces of fabric. Jules held up a dress—an emerald green gown with a deep neckline and a daring thigh-high slit. It shimmered under the lights, and I could already tell it would hug my body in all the right places.
"This is the one," Jules said with a satisfied smile, handing me the gown. "You'll definitely stand out tonight."
I hesitated for a moment, taking in the dress. "Isn't it a bit too much?"
"Trust me," Jules insisted, pushing me toward the changing room. "You need to leave an impression."
