The reason nick was sure that these people were responsible for the current chaos by the look in their eyes is that these looks were filled with killing intent. nick knew for a fact that the only people on this planet who would seek his death are either demon beast or the ones trying to erase the royal family. "i don't suppose i could persuade you people to change your mind about this could i?" nick asked as a last dich effort. the members of the other group each drew a weapon of some kind and stood at the ready to attack him. "guess not." nick said before releasing his transformation causing him to revert to his fiend god form. this change shocked the group as they had no information on whatever this was. nick sighed in content at how comfortable it was to not restrain himself for once. nick focused his now serpentine pupils on the group and unsheathed yin yun who hummed in anticipation at the conflict. stomping his right foot down nick shot towards the group at high speed with his sword held at a slight angle ready to slice apart any resistance.

The group scattered in panic while the person in the middle couldn't move away fast enough do to their team members blocking most of the directions they would have gone. this person raised their axe to block nick but he grinned at this before swinging yin yun at full force in a upward direction. a loud clang rang out before the person with the axe was blasted away with both of their arms and most of their ribs shattered from the sheer strength of the blow. while for cultivators at this level wounds like this weren't lethal they were enough to take them out of the fight for a decent amount of time. the rest of the group were starting to realize that the organization had made a terrible mistake with the group chosen to kill nick. nick pivoted using his momentum to redirect him towards another member of the group who also had a sword. this person learned to lesson of the previous person who clashed with nick and tried dodge away only to suddenly find themselves pinned in place by their own shadow. their eyes went wide in panic just before nick cut off their head and pivoted once again to stare down another person with a predatory glare.
