The big burly man looked upon the quad, sizing them up. Taking a pack of cigarettes, he smoked, sending a cloud of smoke into the air.
He then asked,
"Who's the kid? is he up for the task?" questioned the man towards Krista as he took another puff.
"Mr. Garrett, do not doubt my teammates, they are one of the best in this profession," corrected team leader Krista
Garrett then chuckled and admitted defeat by backing down. Throwing his used cigarette into the trash.
-5 secs to impact-
"Fine, I'll join your little group," bolstered Garrett
"So, what's the pl- "said Garrett as he suddenly activated his innate ability to shield as many adventurers as he could.
Max acted faster as he slowly dissipated into the wind.
Max never went to the house, to begin with. He constructed a ki clone a long time ago, deceiving both his friends and his enemy.
A liquid corrosive fire broke into the complex, melting down objects and ending the lives of many adventurers.
Instantly, the house had been demolished, its splinters incinerating in the air. As the fire raged, smoke consumed the block, causing nearby pedestrians to cough up blood from the undead ki-containing flames, that had now ailed them.
A roar reverberated across the city, and a giant winged undead flew across its sky. The undead released world-ending flames with each exhale.
it single-handedly brought the infectious virus into the heart of the city.
Its existence rivaled nukes in the modern age, causing death, fire, and corrosion where it stood, but this is no normal city, as the dragon majestically entered hostile land.
Its protector reacted. in front of the dragon, a woman dressed in a medieval-like suit appeared. Standing in the sky with a monocle in one of her eyes gave her the temperament of both a businesswoman and a mad scientist.
But ironically, not one that a warrior should have, forming a sharp contrast in this hellscape.
"A new specimen?"
The woman said while wearing a white glove and stretching her fingers as she cracked her neck.
"I would how long this will take," she complained
The undead dragon exhaled deathly flames at the woman only for it to come to a dead stop upon reaching a distance of 10cm away from her.
An invisible field blocked the etheric attack. Forming a fiery cyclone around the woman, making the lady look like a Pheonix experiencing a divine rebirth.
The beast exhaled harder at the woman, but the flames barely phased the barrier as it stood tall under the raging heat.
Inside the mind of the undead dragon, another consciousness watched as its creation was losing ground.
"Interesting," the undead knight said
The undead dragon, seeing that it was doing meaningless work, inhaled, engulfing all the fire.
It then blasted it back as a huge destructive fireball that combusted the air in its path, as it caused a tail of explosions in its wake, and its light made the city red and hot. Causing toxic flames to stain the earth.
The people watching the confrontation marveled in wonder at the almost God-like fight between these two transcendent beings.
"Am I in heaven?"
"No, this is hell!"
The crowd exclaimed.
The woman then swiped her hands dissipating the flames like a candle in the coldest regions of the realm, the slowly dissipating flames made the lady look like a goddess of fire, yet the beast did not back down, on the contrary, it became more rabid.
The undead beast raged in anger as it burnt out its etheric ki for more power. Glowing pure sky blue, like a sapphire under the moonlight.
The dragon's ki caused storms, as it brewed heavy winds causing a massive tornado and lightning strikes. The downpour emitted a dangerous feeling for everyone in the city, as they watched the slowly turning dark sky with fearful expressions
"Why?"
"Someone save us, please!"
"You fool, take cover"
"Yeah, that woman is right!"
Panicked the inhabitants
The lady in the sky reacts quickly circularly moving her hand. For each movement, the sky shifts accordingly, suppressing the corrosive rainfall before it even started.
The weakened undead, seeing a chance, shot through the air like a sparrow, but just as it moved, it felt like a mountain fell on its back,
"Hey you spear guy! I can't hold him for long throw it!" said Garrett to Eric.
Eric nodded his veins growing black as he threw his spear with his full force. and then a spear soared to the dragon. Like a shooting star, it soared towards the suppressed creature.
The spear struck its throat, destroying whatever balance it once had under the mountain-like weight.
"Enora, I will restrain it use poison on the vines!" said Krista as she made huge trees grow from the ground, where the undead was about to land.
Upon reaching the ground, branches 4 meters thick wrapped around its limbs with poison transmuting its undead ki weakening it even more.
A boy with red hair and red analytic eyes looked through a scope while holding an enhanced bazooka 3 km away, for he aimed at the throat of the trapped dragon.
Click
A projectile moved toward the behemoth while releasing a streak of blue light at its tail. Crossing kilometers in seconds.
The warhead hit the dragon, causing a sound to sweep each corner of the city. As the fireball exploded, the floating lady with near-godlike power raised her hand and squeezed the explosion.
Restraining the spread of the warhead was limited to the damage to the undead creature, but the dragon was not dead, absorbing the energy from the dead bodies that were scattered around the municipality.
Every damage dealt by the protagonist team was nulled as the dragon regenerated slowly.
The situation turned dire as most high-ranking adventurers set up to settle the undead raid.
Leading to a shortage of high-ranking martial artists.
Also, because numbers will only make this tyrant dragon more powerful low leveled martial artist could not step too close only watching from the sidelines, but suddenly the majestic goddess floating in the sky stretched her thin arms, yet no one at the scene dared to look down on them.
In a few moments, the dragon regressed the invisible force, pulling it apart price by piece, but the attack had just begun as she raised the dragon 1km into the sky and higher

Crossing her hands, she twisted the dragon as its roar shook the atmosphere, turning the blue sky to orange, red, and white.
Soon its cries were no more after it split apart from the force, instantly taking back the changes caused by its wailing.
The woman suddenly vomited a mouthful of black blood, as the veins in her eyes turned purple and her skin transmuted to a white, silky color.
Then the woman fell from the sky and was wrapped by vines that grew out of the walls of the homes as a result of Kristas' ability.
Then, among the onlooker, a man asked,
"Who was that lady?"
"That woman is one of the founders of this city, the 6th of the 8 first adventurers, Gabriel, invincible hand Gabriel," answers an old woman
Night time
In a faraway cave
A bronze-skinned male was searching through a bookshelf embedded in the wall. Rapidly browsing through his collection. He stopped at a book titled.
The Legend Of The Greatest Alchemist,
By,
Merlin
Rapidly opening the book. He shuffled through the pages, yet he could not find what he was looking for, but his gut feeling was telling him to keep up reading.
He was skimming through pages at inhuman speeds, reading over 400 pages in three minutes. He stopped, looking at a line.
< the great alchemist was a boisterous man, he bragged about a child with flaming red hair, rubies-eyes, and a genius surpassing anything this capital has ever seen, better than most alchemists despite being just 4 years old! The man bragged about how this genius was his son.>
The man's eyes widened in realization as a lightning bolt struck his mind.
"Are you done criminal" a voice turned up from the man behind.
Rojin closed the book, as his shoulders dropped he turned back and walked forwards with slow and steady footsteps.
Robin dragged back the chair in front of him and sat down, looking at the smiling young lad in front of him.
"Max Elliot, son of Merlin," rojin said to the lad in front of him. But max ignored him and just admired the scenery of the cave.
"If you didn't come to me, maybe you would have lived longer with your new protectors, yet you orchestrated your demise." Rojin mocked, as his blue-tinted eyes emitted wavy rays as he stared at max with undisguised killing intent.
With thunder, Rojin emitted blinding sparks. While attempting to cross through space with his heaven-defying powers to rid this world of the scourge whose mere existence plagued him.

Robin sat there dumbfounded and confused, as he was nowhere near his intended location. Max's smile widened as he watched rojin expression shift through multiple forms. After his major reliance failed.
Max flashed his hands, which were covered in gloves. On the back of the glove was a complex array shaped like a pentagram that pulsed in blue light.
Alchemical artifact (space sealer)
Multiple layered spaces that were constantly folded. The stacking of multiple spaces affects a location, causing it to be more stable and rigid, dulling the capabilities of space-tearing anomalies.
Rojin felt insulted at how this boy looked down on him, yet with fear, as his actions were tender in front of this formation. This child-like demon from hell, this confidence.
"Why are you being so tense? Here, I thought you would be delighted to see me. Did I scare you with my last probe?" generously comforted max to rojin as he leaned forward, tilting his head to have a better look.
Then he stood up and strolled past Jin while patting his shoulder, yet this touch did not have any feelings.
"You know…we could have been friends…but circumstances happen, now I have to kill you, a shame…But this place looks quite cozy…very good for your grave, isn't it??" Max slowly said with resentment as a murderous expression made its way to his face, as his skin faded into smoke and his figure became harder to perceive.
Max was never here from the beginning.
It was a setup
Although Max was gone, it begs the question. Where was the space-sealing artifact? He wondered as he slowly turned the book he held. On it lay the array.
~~Flashback~~
As Max's assassination failed, he made a ki clone that flew toward his house, and he left the city heading to a cave.
~~Flashback ends~~
Rojin scampered from his chair, but it was futile, as Max's plan left no dead ends.
In the cave, a black cubic object was pulsing. Just its existence brought an unending sense of dread. Every animal that was included in its blasting range ran with its full force from the man-made natural disaster.
The pulsing slowed down, coming to an abrupt stop.
...…..
A white light appeared, spreading across the land. Its shine illuminated the world like a benevolent star gracing the earth with its warmth, but its true effect had yet to come.
A giant red mushroom appeared in the light. Made of fire and smoke, it made a deafening noise, as a shock wave pulsed through it, toppling the trees. While it judged it with its heat, light, and power.
It toppled hills, their structure collapsing, as the blast crushed them to dust. It vaporized the mutated animals as the heat melted their skin, bones, organs, and ki.

The blast range expanded, leaving behind wreckage in its path. The mushroom cloud at the center reaches a height of the 3KM.
Max stared at the art, as the weight on his shoulders dropped in relief as he killed an accomplice involved in the death of his parents.
