On the first day of Hogwarts, it happened to be a weekend, which was a pleasant surprise for most students.

In the morning, Albert opened his eyes and climbed out of bed. It was still raining heavily outside. He stifled a yawn and looked at his roommates, who were still reluctant to get up.

On rainy days, it always feels especially difficult to get out of bed.

Albert changed into his clothes and prepared to go to the Great Hall for breakfast. Before leaving, he took out two thick books from his trunk.

These two books were borrowed from the library by Albert before the summer vacation, and he needed to return them now that school had started. By the way, out of the 100-book reading challenge, Albert had already finished reading 17 books.

As he passed through the common room, Albert witnessed a surprising scene.

There were students sitting on the armchairs in the common room, and many Gryffindor students were... actually studying.

Was the sun rising from the west?

No, it was still raining outside.

"Good morning," Shanna came down from another staircase and greeted Albert, who was standing at the foot of the stairs. She looked at the students in the common room, completely taken aback, and asked, "Are they... doing summer homework?"

"Yeah, rushing to finish copying their summer homework," Albert replied, and walked towards the entrance of the common room.

Shanna glanced at the students in the common room and followed Albert out.

On the way, the two of them chatted about the Replication Charm.

"Items replicated using the Replication Charm usually have no added value," Albert explained to Shanna after guiding a lost first-year student. "For example, if you replicate a silver spoon, the replica will only serve the purpose of a spoon and won't have the effects of the precious metal silver."

Shanna nodded, indicating that she understood.

When they arrived at the entrance of the Great Hall, they ran into Charlie and Wood in the entrance hall. The two of them were discussing Quidditch tryouts.

As everyone knew, Wood would be the successor to the Gryffindor Quidditch team captain.

There was no choice; after Charlie graduated, Wood would be the oldest in the team and had been with the team the longest.

Albert greeted the two of them and was about to enter the Great Hall for breakfast.

"Albert," Charlie suddenly called out to him.

"What's up?" Albert's heart skipped a beat, and he turned around to ask.

"The Quidditch tryouts will be held next Wednesday, don't be late," Charlie reminded him.

"Wednesday? I'm not sure when Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club starts," Albert hesitated for a moment and said, "Why don't you give me a position as a reserve player?"

"Don't make excuses," Charlie squinted his eyes. "Order a broomstick early, your position is a Seeker."

Albert was taken aback for a moment and asked in confusion, "What about you?"

"I can handle being a Chaser," Charlie's tone was very calm. "So, don't make excuses for yourself. I allow you to occasionally skip Quidditch training."

"That doesn't seem right," Albert twitched his mouth.

"There's nothing wrong with it. Finding Chasers is relatively easy, but finding a Seeker is not. That's why I want to leave you as an excellent Seeker. Otherwise, when you take over the Gryffindor team next year, you'll be in trouble without a qualified Seeker and will definitely lose miserably."

"Well..." Albert hesitated for a moment and decided not to voice his concerns.

"What is there to worry about? George and Fred are Albert's good friends, and Angelina gets along well with Albert. The others also know him. Even if he occasionally doesn't come, it's fine," Charlie reminded with a meaningful tone. "The task of a Seeker is to catch the Golden Snitch."

Albert had no idea about the conversation between Charlie and Wood, nor did he know that the original Gryffindor Quidditch players had already been predetermined.

He was currently teaching Shanna how to use the Replication Charm.

It was almost impossible to succeed on the first try. So, Shanna's attempt to practice with a spoon ended as expected—unsuccessful.

While the two of them were chatting about the precautions of the Replication Charm, Albert's attention was drawn to a white owl.

Despite the heavy rain, Hedwig had delivered the letter as expected.

"Good job!" Albert took a nut from his pocket and placed it in front of Hedwig.

"What's in the letter?" Shanna curiously asked. When the letter landed on the table, it made a clear metallic sound.

"A piece of gold," Albert replied without thinking. He didn't plan to open the letter in the Great Hall. Instead, he put the envelope back in his pocket.

As for how to deal with the Gold Card, Albert had already made up his mind to hide it in the Room of Requirement.

Sure, right next to the Ravenclaw diadem.

Next time, when Albert hands the diadem over to Dumbledore, he will have an excuse to deflect Dumbledore's attention: "I just found this thing near the diadem when I handed it over to you."

"A piece of gold?" Shanna repeated, looking at Albert with suspicion. When this guy speaks, it's hard to tell if he's telling the truth or not.

"I was just joking. Actually, it's a metal membership card," Albert said jokingly, not giving Shanna a chance to continue questioning.

After finishing breakfast, Albert greeted Shanna and left. As for Hedwig, after finishing the nut, she had already flown back to the owlery to rest.

"Gold, membership card? What strange things are these?" Shanna shook her head, unable to connect gold with a membership card.

Well, it's difficult for ordinary people to associate gold with a membership card unless they've seen it themselves.

Hurrying to the eighth floor, Albert slipped into the Room of Requirement when no one was around and placed the envelope containing the Gold Card near the Ravenclaw diadem.

Albert couldn't be sure if Hertock would find a way to retrieve his Gold Card, but perhaps he would seek Dumbledore's help.

It would be easy for the other party to take the Gold Card back if Albert kept it on him, so hiding it was the best choice.

As for whether the other party would get a new membership card?

Of course, they could, but it wouldn't be a Gold Card, nor would it have the effects of a Gold Card.

There was no other choice; the Gold Card was unique, and the Extraordinary Potioneer Society wouldn't issue a replacement. After all, it's unheard of for someone who lost a trophy or a medal to ask the organizers to replace it.

Unless Hertock gave up, he would have to solve the trouble he caused to retrieve his Gold Card.

The probability of Hertock giving up on the Gold Card was small.

As Albert walked and pondered this matter, he realized he was already standing in front of the Fat Lady's portrait.

Answering the password, he passed through the passage and returned to the dormitory. Lee Jordan had already woken up and was checking his summer homework.

Just as he arrived in the common room, he was surprised by the scene.

"How did it go?" Albert sat on the edge of the bed and asked.

"I didn't miss any summer homework," Lee Jordan made an "OK" gesture and asked, "When do we start making wizard cards?"

"According to the plan, we'll start with the cards for Hogwarts students and professors," Albert took out his notebook, flipped through a few pages, and said, "They will be collectively known as the Hogwarts Card Set."

"I thought you would divide them by houses."

"Initially, of course, we'll separate them, as it would be more beneficial for promotion," Albert took out a piece of parchment and sketched a rough structure of the cards, continuing, "However, all these cards will belong to the Hogwarts Card Set. We need to divide them into factions, and each faction needs to have its own gameplay to increase the fun of the game."

"That makes sense," Fred agreed.

"Aren't you going to sleep?" Albert asked.

"No," Fred stifled a yawn and started getting up and dressing.

"What is this for?" George pointed to a large empty space on the parchment and asked.

"To put the portraits," Albert picked up his wand, cut out the images from the parchment, and then used the Replication Charm to create multiple copies. He then picked up a quill and started making the cards: Fred Weasley. Attack 1, Health 1. Requires 1 action point. Effect: When George is not on the field, you can immediately summon George from the card. When the Weasley twins are both on the field, their attack power +1."

"Our attack power is only 1?" Fred and George couldn't help but protest.

"I think your card's effect is pretty good," Lee Jordan pointed to his own card.

"Lee Jordan. Attack 1, Health 1. Requires 1 action point. Effect: As one of the four founders of the Wizard Cards, you can draw one card for free."

"What about your card?" All three of them looked curiously at Albert.

"My card," Albert picked up a blank piece of parchment and filled in his information.

"Albert Anderson. Attack 3, Health 2. Requires 2 action points. Effect: After this card is played, you can choose one Shield Charm and one Disarming Charm from your deck."

"Why does your card have a better effect than ours?" All three of them protested.

"Because I'm better than you guys, and I can actually use those two spells," Albert reassured them. "These cards are not fixed. In the future, we can apply the Transfiguration Charm to the cards to address the issue of card updates."

"Hurry up, I can't wait to play a game," Lee Jordan urged.

"Include Charlie and Percy as well. Oh, don't forget the Gryffindor Quidditch players," Fred continued. "And also the professors at the school."

"Oh, how many cards do we need to form a deck?" George asked.

"For now, let's start with thirty cards," Albert thought for a moment and replied, "You can't have more than three copies of the same card in the deck."
