Chương 56: Promise

Nicholas stood face to face with a visitor he hadn't expected, a face he hadn't seen in over a decade, and a human whom he had no idea how he ended up at his doorstep. Nicholas was well aware of what the man in front of him was capable of, yet for some reason he wasn't afraid. He had no idea why or what the being in front of him had come here, but he guessed it wasn't to exchange pleasantries.

"Hollister, long time no see" Nicholas started ending the long silence that ensued after they locked eyes. "Come on in" He offered and the man immediately walked in as if waiting for the invite. "I assume you've come to kill me?" Nicholas inquired but got no reply. Instead, his visitor had immediately attacked him, and In the next second he was pinned to the wall with a dagger held to his throat.
