(Matthew's POV)
My eyes feel like they were glued shut but I don't make any effort to open them because of the voices close by.
The pain in my shoulder and thigh seems lesser than before but I still feel nauseous and weak so I have little choice but to lay here and play dead for now.
"Why do you think they are so interested in him? He looks like a normal wolf to me."
I know that voice. It's the vampire with dyed blue hair.
"Apart from the fact that he's an Alpha, I don't know anything else," Another man replies and this one is unknown to me.
What throws me off is that this new person is human.
Vampires view werewolves as their arch enemy while humans, well, humans are no better than the dirt under their feet.
"That's because you haven't seen his wolf yet," A newcomer chips in as he comes to stand in front of me. At least I think he did since his footsteps seem to echo in whatever room I'm in.
