Blanche POV
I'm sitting by my brother, Atsushi Nakajima and he looks quite lost in his thoughts.
'I bet he's thinking about food' I thought to myself.
Me and my brother got kicked out of our last orphanage a week ago. So, now we are roaming around, homeless.
My brother decided to sit by two bridges, because he wanted to.
While my brother was thinking to himself, I saw a man's body upside down floating down the river.
'To be honest, he looks like a upside down crab in the river.' I thought disturbed, I looked at my brother to see if he noticed and my brother did not because his butt was in the air and his face was on the floor.
'my brother has been infected by the weirdness of this world. my poor, poor brother.' I thought very concerned.
My brother punched the ground with his right hand and did the same with his left. He then pushed himself up to look up.
His eyes held sadness and grief in them. It looked like he's having a flashback, so I moved my body over to him and gently hugged him. But, it was kinda hard because im quite taller than him.
He suddenly shouted out "shut up" thrice times. I looked at him in sadness and sighed softly.
My brother started to mumble things under his breath. All I clearly heard was that he was going to steal everything someone owned.
"Brother, let's not do that." I said to him and he looked back at me. He said,"But, we don't have anything. We are starving and we need new clothes and-"
" Yes, I understand but we can't just steal everything from someone. We'd be just like them." I said to him firmly.
He thought about what I said and looked at the river. He saw the man, hooray.
I stared at the man's twitching legs. My brother seemed very shocked because he started to talk to himself like a little weirdo.
The man started to spin and for some reason I felt like that was taunting Atsushi.
The man's legs turned into a bowl like shape while spinning and crows were pecking on his legs.
Suddenly, I heard a splash from where my brother sitting. I looked over and he wasn't there. I became distressed and started to think about what could have happened. I heard loud breathing from somewhere and saw my brother in the river to get the man.
'What the f*** is wrong with my brother' I thought concerned for him.
When he came back with the man he was breathing heavily and the man was laying down next to him.
I got up and walked over to him to see if he was alright.
I picked him up by his armpits and looked all over him to see if he was injured anywhere.
" Don't do that ever again, I was worried." I said to him while I hugged him.
I looked over at the man and he had short brown hair and he was wearing a light brown overcoat with dark brown vest and underneath that vest was a white shirt. He had beige pants. There was bandages on his wrists and neck from what I could see.
for a moment he stayed still for a moment and his body popped up into a sitting position.
Like I heard a little popping sound when he got up and I thought it was very adorable. When my brother heard the popping sound he jumped and asked the man if he was okay.
The man suddenly made a frustrated face and mumbled "damn" under his breath. Me and my brother were very confused.
The man got up and walked over to us. He looked at my brother and asked him," Tell me, are you the one who interrupted my submersion?".
" You don't remember? Yes, I saved your life! " My brother said to him in a "matter of fact" way while looking away from him.
Me and my brother looked at him and thought ' Submersion?!'.
The man then said," You don't get it? I was trying... to kill myself." My brother looked at him very shocked.
I was not, because this river seemed like it would carry dead bodies, to be honest.
"Suicide!?" My brother shouted out, shocked.
'Atsushi loves to yell, doesn't he' I thought kinda aggravated.
" Sure, I think that everything was going just Swimmingly. " He said.
I chuckled softly ' I love puns'.
" But you, interfered my day" He said giving my brother stink eye.
My brother was getting getting confused again. The man started to talk about how he wanted to commit a clean suicide.
The man said he should apologize for troubling my brother's day.
My brother's belly started to growl. The man asked my brother if he was hungry and he said," Well, the truth is that we haven't eaten in several days." Then the man's stomach growled to and he said," Well, how odd I'm also hungry."
'What the f*** is wrong with these people. what, are they communicating with their stomachs? I swear.'
Next thing I know, There is a man with his blonde hair tied in a low ponytail with glasses. He had a beige vest with a dark colored shirt underneath. his pants were also beige. that man was yelling over here.
The brunette man yelled out "Kunikida", I think it was.
The blondy started to yell at mister brunette and Mister brunette simply ignored him and told us that Kunikida was his colleague from work and that he would treat us to food.
Which I doubt Kunikida liked because he got even more angry and started to yell. My brother jumped very hard.
Mister Brunette asked for our names and Atsushi said his and my name to him.
Kunikida told mister brunette," Don't you get all generous with my money, Dazai!"
While they were talking, my thoughts drifted away.
Mister brunette's name is Dazai.
What a interesting name. Well, hopefully we get the food we asked for.
