THIRD POV
Three days. 72 hours, 4320 minutes and 259300 seconds has been the time he sat down there waiting.
After searching the house like a fool in love and with an expectant grin on his face, Adonis had walked round thinking she must be playing a game on him.
It was partially true as it all turned out to be a sick game of hers.
Always leaving him.
Always deserting him.
He searched round the huge mansion, going as far as raising the couches and checking under tables just to convince himself otherwise and to also stop himself from overthinking.
His search came to an end after he almost destroyed the whole house with anger before checking the surveillance footage.
There he saw her running out of the house with a parked luggage without looking back.
He had stared intently and even thought back to the night they spent together trying to remember if he has done her any wrong.
She left.
