Elijah Kings was the happiest kid. His life was perfect and there was nothing he wanted to change. But all things must come to an end, when he was about sixteen his mother found out that her son was gay and became distance. Soon enough she was ignoring him but Elijah's father was understanding and accepting. But that didn't matter to Elijah, so when Elijah was eighteen and was leaving for college, he decided that he would never return to the house where his mother couldn't look him in the eyes.
College was hard and Elijah couldn't afford it so when he saw a flyer for a job, that paid well, at some rich guy's restaurant he immediately applied. What he didn't expect was to get the job right away and then fall in love with the owner, Nicholas Quinn, on the first day at the job.
What will become of Elijah? Will he be able to survive and get through college? What happens when his family shows up at his doorstep with more problems that solutions?

I felt like I was in the book. I loved the fact that I got to know both sides of the story and how Nicolas and Elijah felt throught the story. The baby part straight up made me cry and the ending😭😭🥺 Just read this and youll find out.🗣

I haven’t read very far. From what I can tell, the writing isn’t nearly as bad as many other original novels. But I wouldn’t call it very good either- the whole perspective just reeks immature to me.
This was a really great read. The book had a great plot as well as great characters. Overall I would defiantly recommend this book to others who appreciate the genre.
