"I'm sorry, I swear I don't know what came over me, I really am." Catherine cried in guilt before her brother who worriedly paced back and forth in the empty dining, looking speechless and unsure of how to react after listening to all the rubbish his sister just spat out from her mouth, and so he vented his rage on the table as he slammed his fist on it, startling the crying lady who heaved in shock.

Silence reigned after that as though the earth had settled after an avalanche had broken, and seconds later, Orson could hear his sister's light sobs.

He looked at his sister with his anger still visible in his eyes, they were slightly red and teary, and Catherine lowered her head despondently, feeling shattered within after noticing the clear disappointment that displayed in her brother's eyes for her.
